Review

This was my first romance audiobook and it did not disappoint! The narrator, Rebecca Lemke, has a cozy voice that allowed me to easily enjoy this book — I put it on while doing chores, and the next thing I knew, I just kept listening even after I already finished what I needed to do.

Abigail is a sweet and kind protagonist who's had to go through a lot of difficult things in life, while Jake's a keeper! I do like having good guys for MCs though, so that was really a plus. I smiled and swooned at plenty of parts. The mystery of the missing books was a nice touch too, and I loved how that was resolved!

All in all, this is a great read for when you just want to wind down after a long day, with a cup of tea or a glass on wine, and you're just feeling something cute and easy to finish.
