There once was a man quite absurd Who thought life was just quite a word He laughed at the sky And danced with a fly And never once thought to be bored
He'd spin around in circles all day And talk to the clouds in a silly way He'd sing to the trees And hop with the bees And never once cared what they'd say
But one day he tripped on a stone And tumbled and fell with a groan He saw the world's strife And the sadness of life And realized he'd been blind and alone
So he got up and brushed off his pants And looked at the world with new glance He saw both the good And the bad as he should And decided to give life a chance
Now he still laughs and dances around But he also walks on solid ground He's learned to embrace All the colors and taste Of the world that can sometimes astound.
There once was a man quite absurd Whose life was completely absurd He'd walk into doors And fall through the floors His misfortunes, truly, were blurred
He'd lose his keys every single day And forget what he came to say He'd trip on the stairs And fall into chairs His clumsiness, truly, held sway
But despite all the chaos and strife He lived his life to the fullest, with life For he knew that it's rare To be free from despair And find joy in the midst of the knife
So let us all learn from this man And embrace life's absurdities, if we can For in doing so We'll learn and we'll grow And live with a smile, not a ban.
There once was a man from the city Whose life was an utter absurdity He tried to make sense But found no recompense So he just laughed and embraced the inanity
He worked at a job he despised And his boss was just plain unwise He'd come home each night And just sit in the light Wondering when his luck would finally rise
But he found that life's not always fair And sometimes you just have to dare To laugh in the face Of the absurd race And take joy in the moments rare
So he lived his life with a grin And didn't let the absurdity win He found pleasure in small things And didn't worry about the stings And now his life's a joy from end to begin.
There once was a man quite absurd Who constantly spoke of a bird He claimed it could talkAnd go for a walk But no one believed him, how absurd!
He laughed and said life's a big joke Where reality is often bespoke One day you're up high The next day you might cry Life's randomness can make you choke
But he never gave up on his dream Of the talking bird, or so it seemed He searched high and low Through rain, sleet, and snow And finally found it, so it seemed
But when he spoke to the bird at last It only squawked and flapped its wings fast He realized with a sigh That life's just passing by And we all must make the most of our cast
So let us embrace the absurdities Of life's little peculiarities For they make us unique And keep us on our feet In this crazy world of possibilities.
There once was a man who felt strife For the absurdities of life He laughed at the madness And all of the sadness And found joy in the midst of his strife
He saw that the world was crazy And sometimes it all seemed so hazy But he didn't despair Or pull out his hair He just smiled and felt a bit lazy
For what good is worrying and stress When life is so absurd, no less You can't make sense of it all So just have a ball And enjoy the ride, no need to impress
So if you're feeling down and blue And don't know what else you can do Just take a deep breath And enjoy life to death For the absurdities will always ensue.
There once was a man, quite perplexed By the absurdities of life, he was vexed For try as he might Everything seemed trite And he couldn't help but feel perplexed
He wondered why the sky was blue And why the grass was green, not a different hue He pondered the meaning of it all And why we're here, what's our call?
But then he realized, with a laugh That life is absurd, and that's the half Of what makes it so great The twists and turns, the unexpected fate
So he embraced the chaos and the strife And decided to live a joyous life For though the absurdities abound It's in the madness that joy is found
And so he danced and sang and laughed And made the most of life, in all its craft For though it may be strange and bizarre It's the quirks that make life truly stellar!
There once was a man who thought he knew The absurdities of life, oh so true But each day brought new surprises That he couldn't rationalize
And so he just laughed and said, "Who knew?"
From the talking dog to the flying pig From the politician who danced a jig To the cat who played the violin Life's absurdities never wear thin
The man tried to make sense of it all But the more he tried, the more he'd fall Into a pit of confusion and doubt Until he learned what life was all about
Life's absurdities are here to stay And it's up to us to laugh and play To embrace the weird and the strange And find joy in the unexpected change
So if you're feeling lost and confused Just remember, life can be a ruse But with a little laughter and some fun You'll soon see that absurdities can be won!
There once was a man with a plan To make sense of life, if he can But he found it absurd Like a flightless bird And decided to just enjoy the span
He thought about purpose and reason And all the things that we believe in But the more he thought The more he got caught In a cycle of doubt and unseeing
So he decided to take a new tack And just enjoy life, front to back He laughed at the absurd And never once blurred His vision with theories that lacked
Now he lives life with glee and delight Without worry or stress, day or night For the absurdities of life Are no longer his strife And he revels in each moment's sight
There once was a man named Fred Whose life was completely absurd He'd wake up in the morning And find himself snoring While still lying flat in his bed
He'd stumble out of his room And trip on a misplaced broom He'd make his way down the hall And slip on a wet ball His life was like living in a cartoon
At work he'd spill coffee on his tie And his boss would let out a big sigh He'd forget his lunch And feel like a dunce His life was just one big crazy ride
But Fred learned to laugh at his fate And embrace the absurdities he faced He realized life's too short To worry and distort So he lived each day with a smile on his face.
