Natural skin care products

Now that everything is going green, natural skin care has never been more popular. Skincare companies are adding natural beauty products to their product offerings. Most of the beauty supply stores you come across have natural skincare products on display. However, true natural skin care is not limited to the use of natural products or home remedies for skin care. It is a routine of life.

Natural skin care is about natural beauty. However, it is affected by more than what you put on your skin and whether that product is natural. If you have a poor diet, never exercise and smoke, there is no product, natural or otherwise, that will keep your skin young and healthy. The most important factor in maintaining a beautiful complexion starts from within. In other words, natural beauty is not limited to the skin.

Factors that can have much influence on the appearance of your skin

Food

It's as important as any product you can put on your skin. A balanced diet rich in vegetables and fruits, low in sugar, low in bad fats, high in calcium and plenty of water will do more to maintain your natural beauty than any store-bought product.

Physical activity and adequate sleep

Exercise is great for the skin. It promotes good blood circulation to the dermis and brings more oxygen to the skin. On the other hand, getting enough sleep is so necessary for great skin, especially as we get older. An average adult should get 8-9 hours of sleep when possible.

Heredity

Major skin or skin problems can run in families. If you got a beautiful complexion from your grandmother, don't take it for granted. Your skin will always need proper care. The same goes for skin problems. Don't feel like you can't do anything. Following the recommendations here and finding a good skin care system can improve or completely alleviate these issues.

Environment

The outdoor and indoor environment in which you spend your days can affect your skin in many ways. The sun is the most obvious. With all the great sun protection options available, there's no reason not to protect your skin. Wind can dry out and crack your skin, and smog can leave a thin layer of dirt on your skin. so be sure to moisturize and keep your skin clean.

Medications

Certain medications can affect the skin, sometimes resulting in rashes, dry skin, or acne. Always consult your doctor if you are taking any medications that seem to alter your skin. Examples are hormonal medications and some antibiotics.

Stress

Avoid stress as much as possible. Too much stress can negatively affect your overall health, including the appearance of your skin. The practice of natural skin care includes reducing or eliminating stress from your life.

Other tips for a natural skincare lifestyle

  • Try to avoid sugar in your meal.

Eating sugar is considered one of the main causes of premature aging. Too much sugar in the blood can cause a process called glycation. Glycation occurs when a molecule of glucose (sugar) binds to a molecule of protein. When this happens, the protein molecule is damaged and a new molecule called advanced glycation end products, or AGEs, is formed. AGEs damage collagen, cartilage, and ligaments in the skin, leading to loss of elasticity. This causes sagging and wrinkles.

  • Keep your digestion system speed up

A well-functioning digestive system is good for your skin and your overall well-being. People with skin problems often suffer from digestive issues such as constipation or an imbalance between good and bad bacteria.

To speed up your digestion, try to drink enough water. Water keeps things moving in the colon, which is always important. Next, make sure you get enough fiber in your daily diet. To add fiber to your diet, be sure to include whole grains, cauliflower, apples with skin, nuts and seeds, prunes, beans, legumes, and ground flaxseeds.

  • Make things happen.

Slow circulation affects the skin leaving it devoid of nutrients. Inactivity can leave you feeling bloated, bloated, increase acne, and promote cellulite. So, if you have a job that leaves you sitting all the time, it’s really important to take advantage of your breaks and move around. Speak several times in the office. Join a gym. Go out on weekends. Good circulation will help you to improve your skin and your whole body.

  • Try to take good fats

Good fats are essential fatty acids like omega-3 and omega-6. It is very hard for your body to live without these fatty acids. Essential fatty acids are needed to make cell membranes, hormones, and other body chemicals. They protect your heart and fight inflammation. EFAs can help people with dry skin, acne, and eczema. Essential fatty acids can be found in cold water fish such as salmon or sardines, flaxseed oil, walnut oil and supplements.

  • Give your body a dry brush scrub.

Dry brush exfoliation removes dead skin cells and helps detoxify the skin. Dry brushing also improves blood circulation. Gentle brushing also relaxes the nerves and can help reduce swelling.
