What is summer skin rash?

Summer rash or heat rash or prickly heat is caused by a blockage and inflammation of your sweat ducts. It can be made worse by heat and high humidity. The rash looks red but this may be less obvious or brown on black skin. Heat rash- sometimes called prickly heat, sweat rash or miliaria, is a harmless by very itchy skin rash. On average, heat rash lasts two or three days. More severe heat rashes can last up to a couple of weeks without any treatment.

Causes of Summer skin rash(prickly heat):

Summer rash can appears blotches,wetts or blisters, it can be red, itchy, scaly or dry. It can occurred in one area of skin all over the body. In addition, some rashes may come and go, while others never seem to away.

Home remedies for summer skin rashes: the other many home remedies to relief from the summer skin rash-

Baking soda : baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) can soothe lichy skin.Its also something most of us have in our pantry. This makes it a great home remedy for heat rash and others itchy skin problems.

Add 1 or 2 table spoon of baking soda to a lukewarm water bath for sometimes to get relief from summer skin rash or heat rash.

Cool bath and showers :

Heat rash usually is eases up after the skin is cooled down. Bathing in cool water can help with this. Washing your skin gently and open the pores. It helps in remove the prickly heat.

Oatmeal : oatmeal can be effective at reducing pretty heat and itching. A cup of oatmeal in Luke warm water

And take bath for sometimes. You can use it daily basis. For better result you use it at least two times in a day.

Aloevera gel: aloe vera is and anti inflammatory and antiseptic. That can cool down our skin from any type infection and discomfortness. You can use raw aloe vera gel on your rash.

Sandalwood: sandalwood has anti inflammatory and anti allergic properties. Sandalwood powder add to water and apply on the rashes. You can you sandalwood powder directly on your skin. Sandalwood can cool down our skin from any type itiness.

Treatment:

There are many type treatment to get relief from summer skin rash or prickly heat or heat rash -

* Apply a topical steroid cream.

* Get out of the heat.

* Using antifungal dusting powder.

* Consult a dermatologist.

* Use calamine lotion.

* Take antihistamine tablet after consult a dermatologist.

* You can use hydrocortisone cream.
