How Popular are spine tattoo Ideas?

Yes these tattoos will hurt you but they are very popular. They have been trending lately because of what you design you can do in such a large space. One of the main reasons these are so popular is that anyone can get them because they are easy to cover up. So even for the men or women in the office they can enjoy these tattoos as well. These tattoo designs will make you even want to get inked.

Are these tattoos painful?

These tattoos hurt, they are among the most painful because the spine and neck are sensitive areas. There are areas on our body that feel more pain and also as a woman this usually hurts more than they do to men. Getting a tattoo over your spine the skin is thin and the pain is more severe.

How long does it take for my tattoo to heal?

Tattoos outer layer usually takes about 3 weeks to look healed. Even at this point where it feels and looks healed do not stop the aftercare. Tattoos can take up to six months to fully heal both inside and outside. Another factor that determines how fast your tattoo on the spine heals is how large it is. Also takes longer if not moisturizing and you keep picking the scabs around the tattoo. Also if you choose lotions with alcohol may slow the process.

Tattoos are stressful to the skin so proper care is important to avoid having to retouch too often. Allow it to heal and it will do good for you, stay perfect for longer.

Do These Tattoos Age Well?

These tattoos tend to age well because they are covered up most of the time. If you have to keep your tattoo out, choose the best tanning lotion for tattoos to protect them from the sun.

The back is an area with low friction and not exposed to the sun light like other areas. If you are looking for a tattoo that will naturally fade less than others this is a good area to get them. All we have mentioned will help your tattoo to age well. Another fun fact is that the back is a large area where you can get any size tattoo on it. You can choose to have a small single design, lots of small designs or one large design. Also not to mention that our back doesn't gain weight as much and stretch like most other parts of our body especially the shoulder blades.

Some Concerns

Getting a Spine tattoo may seem like something to go for. Although with all this you may ask yourself many questions before getting a tattoo in such a place. I love how this body art looks in this location and I am sure you do too. This is why here are a few things to clear your mind before getting it done. Some questions women ask such as , can they still get epidural during labor if they get a tattoo on their spine. These are some general concerns women may have when deciding if they should or should not get a tattoo.

According to Suresh Krishnan, MD, an anesthesiologist

"There have been some reports of the possibility of the pigments from the tattoo causing benign epidermoid tumors within the spinal canal. It's thought that this is due to the coring of tissue that contains the pigment, which is then carried into the epidural space," he said. "If the patient has the space between the second and fifth lumbar vertebrae free of pigment, then she has a lesser risk."
