A full head of hair? Dope! Anywhere else? Not so much.

Having a lot of hair on your head might be one of the best feelings in the world. However, having facial hair can be quite a headache, especially if you happen to hate it. Getting rid of facial hair can also pose a herculean task.

While you might not be able to completely get rid of facial hairs, you might be able to reduce them using any of the options discussed in this article. Hope you find them useful!

1. Shaving

To eliminate unwanted hair quickly and get on with your day, shaving is a great option. Both electric and disposable shavers feature a blade that lifts the hair from the skin's surface and cuts it off. However, the effect won't last forever. A shave will keep your face hair-free for around three days before another session is required.

Applying soap or shaving cream to a freshly cleaned face can maximize the effect. This improves the surface's smoothness and safeguards against cuts. Shave in the direction of hair growth by moving the shaver over your face. While this technique poses little risk, ingrown hairs are a possible drawback of shaving. When hair grows back into the skin, it causes little bumps to appear. Most cases of ingrown hairs heal on their own within a few days.

2. Sugar and Lemon Juice

Combine two teaspoons each of sugar and lemon juice with eight to nine tablespoons of water. Get some bubbles going in this mixture, then set it aside to cool.

Spread it on with a spatula and let it on for 20 to 25 minutes. Remove it by rinsing with cold water and massaging in a circular motion.

Curious as to how it actually works? Heated sugar adheres to hair and not skin, making it an effective exfoliant. The acid in lemon juice serves as a gentle bleach on the hair and skin. Get rid of those excruciating waxing sessions for good!

3. Depilatory Creams

The use of depilatory creams is another alternative for men who want to rid themselves of facial hair. The effects may be more long-lasting than those of shaving, and the cost may be less than that of waxing.

These lotions contain chemicals including salt, titanium dioxide, and barium sulfide that dissolve and wash out of the hair by breaking down the hair's protein structure. There is a possibility of an allergic reaction, despite the fact that these components are typically considered harmless.

If you've never used a depilatory cream before, it's smart to do a patch test on a tiny area of skin before using the full-strength version. Redness, rashes, and itching are all symptoms of an allergic response. Patch testing should be done, and at least 24 hours should pass before applying the cream to wider areas of the face.

4. Egg-White and Corn Starch

Combine egg white, sugar, and one tablespoon of corn starch. When dry, just peel the mixture off from the places where hair growth is a problem. Very simple, if you think about it.

When mixed with sugar and corn starch, egg white becomes sticky and leaves a thin coating on the skin. Because of the vitamin A in egg white, this approach is not recommended for acne-prone skin.

5. Threading

Threading is an alternative method of removing hair from the upper lip, side of the face, and chin, and for shaping eyebrows. Unwanted hair is removed using a thread, which is twisted and pulled until it is dislodged from the follicle. In addition to producing longer-lasting effects than shaving or tweezing, this technique also prevents ingrown hairs.

Threading doesn't need any chemical products either. So, you won't have to worry about any kind of skin reaction, but you could feel some pain or discomfort when the hair is being plucked out of its follicles by your expert. If you're experiencing any discomfort, you may either have your technician administer numbing cream to your face before they start working on you, or you can use a warm compress to soothe your face afterward. Finding a qualified cosmetologist or aesthetician to perform this kind of hair removal is essential.

If you suffer from acne, you may want to avoid threading since it might lead to the breakout of pimples.

6. Oatmeal and Banana

This approach is quite practical. Two tablespoons of oats and one ripe banana are blended to make a paste that can be applied to the skin. Give it a good 15 minutes of massage before rinsing it off with cold water.

Oatmeal's anti-inflammatory properties and high antioxidant content make it an ideal exfoliant. This paste not only effectively eliminates unwanted facial hair, but also leaves your skin looking radiant and healthy.
