Best Ways to Get Clear Skin! (ASAP)

Top 10

1. Never Sleep Without Taking Makeup off First!

Leaving makeup on overnight not only causes breakouts, but it also makes your skin super dry the next morning and makes your skin age faster. Keep wipes next to you in case you always have that "oh it's just once" habit and become lazy.

2. Water! Water! Water!

I cannot stress this one enough. It's almost like the more something is mentioned the less serious people take it. Water is very important, dehydration causes breakouts and when you are dehydrated your skin builds up more oils (which cause the breakouts).

3. Witch Hazel (My Holy Grail)

I personally LOVE witch hazel, every good thing you hear about it is true. Just put some on a cotton pad every morning and every night, and go over any breakouts (or even redness) you may have on your face. I did this for about a month and I saw results, and by 2 months it was looking even better!

4. Aloe Vera

This is one of the most natural ways you could go about this. Aloe vera helps with redness, inflammation and breakouts. It is also good at tightening your skin for a more smooth look.

5. Fast Food & Sugar

This goes without saying, do I even need to explain? Stop eating them as much, you'll see a HUGE difference trust me!

6. Makeup (Again)

A lot of females wear makeup, if you don't then skip this one. For those who do, you might want to consider washing/cleaning you makeup brushes/sponges every week or two weeks. This will prevent you from putting old, dried up make up and oils from previous times you wore makeup.

7. Blotting Sheets

They are very cheap and come in very handy. They start from as low as $1 (elf) and don't go very high. Every time you feel your face getting oily, take a sheet out of your purse/pocket and dab it on where the oil is coming from. This will help the oil from spreading and causing breakouts.

8. A Faster Way, Honey

A natural antibacterial. Just put some honey over that little pimple before you go to bed, and when you wake up the pimple will be much smaller than it was the night before.

9. Coffee (What? I Know Right)

Well personally, I don't drink coffee but it seems like everyone else on this planet does. I'm not saying stop drinking, just saying to cut back. You will definitely see a huge difference (with your breakouts and your health)

10. Toner

Toners are also HOLY GRAILS. Do you know if you really got all that make up off your face? Well just to be sure, get a toner. Toners get every single bit off make up off of your face. They aren't expensive either.

Popping Pimples at Home

You need to make sure you don't get any bacteria around the pimple. Wash your hands and make sure the needle you're using is clean (rub it with rubbing alcohol), then just gently push the needle into the pimple (just enough to open it up) and then push from the outside of the pimple to get the remaining out.

Sleeping with Dirty Hair

If you're just having one of those lazy days and don't feel like washing your hair, make sure before you go to bed to get all your hair out of your face. The oils and dirt from your hair can cause breakouts on your face, so make sure to either tie your hair back (not too tight, don't want a headache in the morning) or just put your hair to the side.

Smoking

I know for some it's hard, try to cut back. Smoking can cause wrinkles which makes you look a lot older than your age, and makes your skin sag.

Do You Know About Your Products?

A lot of people use products from the drugstore to help reduce acne/redness. Those products are almost always only good for up to 3-4 months, after that the ingredients become inactive so try to switch it up.

No Coconut Oil

For quite a while it was trending that coconut oil was good for the skin, hair and taking off makeup. I am sure it's good for the hair and does a great job taking off makeup, but to leave it on for a while is a different story. Leaving coconut oil on your face causes your pores to get clogged, more bacteria build up and oils.

Fragrance-Free Products!

Use fragrance free products instead of those that come with scents. The ones with smells can cause allergic reactions and redness. Even if you are not allergic it can become quite itchy sometimes, then you scratch it, and BOOM there's your acne. LAY OFF THE SMELLY PRODUCTS!
