XVI

Raw and unapologetically honest, XVI (pronounced 16th) brings his life, love and tribulations into every verse he raps. Growing up on 16th Avenue in a tough neighborhood of East Bradenton, Florida (where XVI indubitably got his name), XVI found himself in and out of public schools and detention centers. "Eat or be eaten" was the mantra he lived by which became his truth and a byproduct of growing up in such strenuous of environments. It wasn't until moving to Clearwater where his life took a new turn, finding himself among other music innovators that took notice of XVI's musical talent. These relationships helped set a foundation for XVI to harness his musical skill and create a platform to release his music. Known for his attention to detail, intricate word plays, and concept driven raps, XVI continues to personify his journey through his music.

Speaking of past relationships with females and understanding the reasons that didn’t work. While using his past situations to deliver the pain or make it a positive vibe. XVI released a track by the name ICY on February 14th. It was definitely an uplifting vibe for the females and all dancers. ICY was an afro beat created by a producer by the name of K COX. Even though XVI is from a small city his music is spreading slowing but surely a vibe you can’t deny. Even having dancers from Japan make a dance clip. You can find the video on IG @takacovillage and @td_hagukiwoman520 shot by @hiro_kawasaki0610. XVI is one of those artist that grew listening to all the idols but never had a dream of doing music. The talent was noticed by friends and loved ones that liked and seen a new style of music within.

Im ready to really learn the music business in and out. So I can help any one in any position that has a future dream within the music industry. I grow up listening to lil Wayne back jamming that 500 degrees. I grew up on producers like jazze pha, mannie fresh, Scott storch and more. I still love listening to R&B from John legend, Alicia keys and maxwell. Just listening to so many great artist and producers over the years helps me shape the sound of my music. Music is an outlet but at the same time traumatizing just reflecting on situations that was hard to handle but in it all nothing wouldn’t be what is it today if it never happened. Some people would say “battling demons”

My ultimate goal is to have a label that actually cares for the artist cause its a whole different picture when certain problems are not an issue but having to tend to the every day battles humans have other than money. I lost child hood friends to gun violence that always leave me thinking about what if’s and why buts there is not always an answer for every question on this earth. Having a friend doing 30 years in prison that you knew through grade school. I try just to look at all the things that rail loaded others and realizing I have an Opportunity to do more with myself and to do more for others to prevent from life changes circumstances in a negative way. So that’s why I try not to be negative in my music but sometimes you just gotta say what you gotta say.

All In all I just want to vibe express myself and help other express themselves. Keep a positive uplifting vibe as much as possible help thy fellow neighbor cause every one life can change in a blink of an eye. Hope to save and help others dodge the bullets in life god shielded me from. Work hard and help our receive they blessings.
