World-Renowned Violinist Bernadett Nyari Launches "Strings For Change"
a New Miami Holiday Concert Benefiting His House Children's Home

Strings For Change, a new holiday concert founded and presented by world-renowned violinist Bernadett Nyari, will make its debut on Thursday, December 10 at Teatro Trail (3715 SW 8th St, Coral Gables, FL). The inaugural event brings together world-class music and heartfelt purpose, with net proceeds from ticket sales benefiting His House Children's Home, a South Florida organization serving orphaned and at-risk children. The concert is open to all ages.
The evening will feature Grammy® Award winner Marlow Rosado, Grammy®-nominated and multiple Billboard #1 artist Deborah Silver, Bernadett herself on violin, additional guest artists still to be announced, a live band, and a children's choir. The concert will be musically led by Music Director and pianist Juan Tobon and hosted by Julie Valeriote, Head of Cruise Programs and Entertainment Operations at Norwegian Cruise Line. A VIP Meet & Greet will follow the performance, giving guests the chance to meet the artists personally, take photos, and enjoy exclusive performances created just for that setting.

Strings For Change traces its origin to a visit Bernadett made to His House Children's Home two years ago, where she performed for a group of teenage girls — some of whom were pregnant or already mothers — who had survived circumstances that included exploitation and human trafficking.
"At first, connecting with the girls was difficult. There was a distance in their eyes that I wasn't accustomed to seeing from an audience," Bernadett said. "But little by little, something began to change. By the end of the visit, they were looking at me differently. Some were smiling. Some even started singing along with me. That change in their eyes stayed with me. It showed me that even for a short moment, music had reached somewhere that words alone perhaps couldn't."
That afternoon stayed with her, and it planted the idea for Strings For Change: a way to use music not only to raise funds, but to give children like the ones she met experiences, encouragement, love and something to look forward to.

The program will draw from classical, crossover, holiday and contemporary music, and while Christmas will be part of the celebration, Bernadett said the concert is designed to welcome all of the season's traditions. "Whether it's the lights of a Christmas tree or the candles of a menorah, I think they represent something very similar: light, hope, family, and togetherness," she said. "The program itself will have a lot of variety and will reflect the different artists, cultures, and traditions coming together on one stage."
Bernadett said she chose her fellow performers as much for their generosity as their artistry. "I wanted people on that stage who genuinely believe in giving back and who want to use their talent to help create something meaningful for these children," she said. "That was just as important to me as their musical accomplishments."
For Bernadett, the evening's purpose is inseparable from its music. "That means every person sitting in the audience on December 10 will already have done something beautiful during the holiday season," she said. "By purchasing a ticket, they are helping provide support, care, and meaningful experiences for children who need them."

The partnership carries special meaning for David Castrillon, the Development Director of His House Children's Home. "Being selected as the beneficiary of Strings For Change is a tremendous honor," Castrillon said. "The holiday season is a time of hope, generosity, and coming together, and this partnership allows our community to shine a light on children who have experienced difficult circumstances and need the support of caring adults."
Funds raised through the concert will go directly toward helping children in the organization's care feel safe, supported and valued, Castrillon said — many of whom have been separated from their families due to abandonment, abuse or neglect, and some of whom have never celebrated Christmas before. "Every gift helps us provide children with the stability, care, and resources they need to heal, grow, and build a brighter future," he said. "Every contribution, no matter the size, sends a powerful message to a child: you matter, you are cared for, and your future matters."
