Want To Read A Different Take on the News?

Almost every day, I visit Marjorie Orr’s website ‘Star4cbast’, opening the tab marked ‘News’ for my daily ‘fix’ of the news behind the news.

The articles are often outside the normal ‘News’ channels, but nevertheless, they are interesting and insightful. I can imagine that the ‘Astrology’ and some of the technical jargon, may be a bit off putting for some of us, but the articles and people being reviewed are very enlightening. You can always skip the astrology and get to the ‘meaty’ bits.

Marjorie Orr and her Background— according to the internet, Marjorie trained as a journalist and began writing features for the Glasgow Herald. She then moved into television and worked as editor of news and current affairs with STV (Scottish Television).

It was during an assignment with the BBC working on a Paranormal series entitled ‘Is anybody there?’ when she had her birth chart drawn up - her talents and temperament were on full display.

It was this event that changed the course of her life, that was over 20 years ago. She started studying Astrology, becoming one of the leading astrologers in this field of work. The series was filmed before the digital age, and it seems all recordings were lost.

On her website, in her own words, she reveals how surprised she was that so many people came to her for a reading but were too embarrassed to openly admit their belief in astrology publicly.

She further goes on to say that more people believe in the influence of the stars than in the four main religions. Personally, I have never been afraid to admit my fascination with Astrology and, consequently live a very good life as a result.

It's always helps to have your own personal birth chart to hand when reading astrological articles, this will help to associate the movements of the planets to your own personal 'blueprint' for your life. Of course, it's always a matter of choice in life, which direction we choose to go.

Clearly, I believe, she has a natural talent for Astrology when I read her articles.

Marjorie Orr also completed a course in Jungian psychotherapy to extend her understanding of the way individuals relate, not just to others but also to themselves. All astrologers have to be careful with their views and opinions, especially if they have a large following. They also need to be sensitive to their clients, none us know what another person truly feels.

Predicting the future — The predictions made, following current events, or high-profile people, using Astrology often turn out to be very accurate.

Sometimes, I’m shocked by her revelations— but then I realise Astrology has been given a bad reputation, all the time it’s not taken seriously, we can get a further insight into the factors affecting our futures.

I often wonder where she gets her stories from, but good journalists never reveal the source.

There is a section after the articles for comments. Some of the comments are amazing and very thought provoking. My understanding of Astrology has increased immensely through these articles, and comments posted.

Astrology can be very probing, searching for the psychology, and reasoning behind the events and, indeed the motivations of the individuals concerned.

If you are interested in people, like I am, you may find yourself hooked too.
