Michael Benji DaRula Smalls considers himself to be a multi-faceted, multi-dimensional being. He participated in several performing arts programs from elementary school throughout college. From Student Body President, Honors String/Electric Bass Player, Drama/Theater, and school/community pageants, he was destined to be an entertainer. Sophomore year in high school, he moved to Jamaica Queens, New York to be better acquainted with his father’s side of the family. He was selected out of 200 students to be a part of the 1st graduating class at Frank Sinatra School of The Arts in Long Island City, New York. He participated in the Drama/Theatre & Instrumental Music Programs. His father soon passed and he moved back to his roots in South Carolina.

He went to Benedict College majoring in Mass Communications and Broadcasting. After college, he moved to Las Vegas to get a taste of the West Coast. At 23. Benji has since been in Atlanta, GA. He began performing at artist showcases and networking mixers to build his following and made a name for h himself and his brand, Benji DaRula CEO of Street Sweepaz, Da Mafia, iMOBEnt. He currently promotes, hosts, coordinates/plans events and outlets to empower indie artists to develop their brand, artistry, and legitimize their music. He is continuing to build his empire and currently working on new music and projects.

Tammy Reese: Hi Benji, it's great to interview you today. What does your role entail as CEO of Street Sweepaz?

Benji DaRula: Street Sweepaz is my street team and marketing company. "The Reel Right Show" is the funnel for that amongst many other resources they provide for the community. Economically spiritually physically financially etc etc

Tammy Reese: When you aren't in building your empire mode, what do you like to do in your spare time?

Benji DaRula: In my spare time I enjoy meditating, traveling, poker, shopping, creating innovative ideas and I like doing adventurous things as well like skydiving parasailing, private booze cruises etc …

Tammy Reese: What music projects can you announce at this moment?

Benji DaRula: Black Market District Streaming Everywhere!

Tammy Reese: Will you be hosting or planning any upcoming events we can be on the lookout for?

Benji DaRula: Visuals for the rest of 2021. All events are Private Through "The Elite Excursions".

Tammy Reese: What is a quote that you live by?

Benji DaRula: The quality of a persons life is in direct proportion to his/her commitment to excellence ***The Purpose Driven Life Book***

Tammy Reese: What are some super fun facts about you that many may not be aware of?

Benji DaRula: People may not be aware that I am actually a FUN, and very down to earth. Being that I genuinely just want to see my people win.

I also enjoy dressing up and "role playing" that's the deepest I'll go with the fun facts LOL.

Tammy Reese: How do you feel you make a difference in the world?

Benji DaRula: I have been empowering and educating my people for as far as I can remember. I am really changing lives, families, communities, and countries with my works. Regardless of whether it's heavily noticed or not. My tribe knows wassup.

Tammy Reese: What else can we be on the lookout for from you?

Benji DaRula: New music projects in 2022 and another Oeraline Fashion & Jewelry Premier in 2022.
