Version 3 is loaded with new features and improvements.

No File Conversion: In older versions, when a file was opened it had to be converted to a common internal file format. In older versions this takes time and for large files, it sometimes takes a couple of minutes. Version 3 does not require conversion and therefore files will open much faster.

File Migration: In older versions, it was difficult to get project files to play on your new machine. This is because project files do not contain video, only a path to the video it uses. That means when moved to a new machine, the paths to the video files must be identical to an old machine in order for these to work.

Video Surgeon 3 has a migration tool that will allow users to find and migrate project files on an old computer. It will then find the video they use and pack everything into a transfer suitcase for you to move to your new machine. Once on the new machine and unpacked your project files will open and play.

Audio File Extraction: It was cumbersome to extract the audio from a video in older Video Surgeon versions. In VS3, you can do this with the click of a single button.

Video Surgeon Version 3 will be priced at $179. However, if you are an existing Version 2 customer you'll be able to buy this at a $80 discount or $99 during the launch period. Version 1 customers will be able to buy it at a $50 discount.

After the launch period is completed our standard upgrade policy will apply. That is, Version 2 customers will receive a 30% discount and Version 1 customers will receive a 20% discount.

Most Version 2 customers have purchased Version 2 for around $100. Buying during the launch period will allow you to buy it for about the same price. If you don't buy it during launch but, at a later time, it will cost you about $125.
