Ultimate Halloween Bash

Playlist

When I think of hosting the ultimate Halloween party, I instantly think about the music that should be played. Music can make or break a party, and this is very true for a Halloween party. The music is what helps set the mood as well as the way the location of the party looks. For example, if the party is in a graveyard, songs that are low in tone and spooky are perfect to set the mood.

When it comes to picking out the songs for a party, there is another important thing to keep in mind and that is who will be attending the party. The best parties cater to people of all ages. The party needs to start as one that is child-friendly, but as it gets late and the kids go to bed, the party can get more hardcore.

The playlist I have created is set up in this manner, and all of the songs I have picked were picked for these reasons. The first set of songs is child-friendly and can be played on loop until there are no longer children at the party. The songs that are at the end of the playlist are not child-friendly and are rather hardcore. This makes them perfect for an adult party.

This playlist is geared towards people who like hardcore rock music and want to headbang the night away. That means it may not be a good selection for everyone, but it is for the kinds of people that I would hang out with at a Halloween party. There are some songs in the middle of the playlist that some may not think are right for children to listen to, but I feel they are perfectly safe especially with how kids are nowadays.

If the party is of a good length, then the songs will need to be repeated as needed for the different parts of the party. There are not a lot of good Halloween songs out there because most of them are artists singing a song that someone else already sang. I picked the ones I did because those artists singing the songs the best.

There is a nice mix of both newer songs and older songs in this playlist. This is done in the hopes of getting as many people as possible to like the party and enjoy their time. The older songs are perfect for bringing out memories of past Halloweens for the adults. The newer songs are important though to keep everyone from becoming bored while at the party from the same old songs.

Parts of this playlist are great for having fun as there are special dances for some of the songs, such as Thriller. The children would have a lot of fun learning how to perform the dances to these songs, so this would be a great interactive part of the night. There are plenty of adults that would have fun as well, especially as the night goes on and they start to let their hair down.

The great thing about all of the songs that were picked for this playlist is that they are great for dancing and background music. This means there can be a bunch of other activities going on at the party but also a dance floor for people to enjoy. Games are a favorite at Halloween parties, especially for younger children who can have fun while they are winning small prizes. Some great prizes could be Halloween candy but also small Halloween-themed toys. These songs are all great to play in the background and will not distract too much from the games.
