“The Rose” is a pop song that was written by Amanda McBroom. The song became popular when American singer, actress, comedian, and author Bette Midler recorded it for her movie “The Rose” in 1979. Midler won the Grammy Award for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for “The Rose.”

“Scarlet Begonias is a song by the American rock band The Grateful Dead. The lyrics were written by Robert Hunter, and the music by Jerry Garcia. On March 23, 1974, the live debut of the song was performed at The Cow Palace in Daly City, California. The song begins in Grosvenor Square in London, England, and also makes reference to the song “Tea for Two” from the musical “No, No, Nanette” by Irving Caesar and Vincent Youmans.

“Build Me Up Buttercup” is a song that was written by Mike d’Abo and Tony Macaulay. It was recorded by the English soul band The Foundations in 1968. The song rose to number one on the Cash Box Top 100 chart and made it on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the US, as well as becoming a hit in the UK. It was certified Gold by the RIAA.

“Morning Glory is a song by the English rock band Oasis and was written by Noel Gallagher. It is on the band’s second album (What’s the Story), Morning Glory? in 1995. The song was a radio single in the US and Canada and got significant airplay on alternative rock radio stations.

“Crimson and Clover” is a song by American rock band Tommy James and the Shondells and was recorded in 1968. The song was written by Tommy James and drummer Peter Lucia Jr. It became number one on the charts in the US and four other countries. Pitchfork Media named this song the 57th best song of the 1960s in 2006.

“Tiptoe Through the Tulips” is a popular song that was published in 1929. It was written by Al Dubin with music by Joe Burke and was made famous by guitarist Nick Lucas. American singer and ukulele player Tiny Time made the song into a novelty hit in 1968 when he sang it on the debut episode of the American TV show Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In. It is on Tiny Tim’s album God Bless Tiny Tim and became his signature song.

“Dandelion” is a song by the English rock band The Rolling Stones. It was written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards and was first released as a B-side to “We Love You” in 1967. John Lennon and Paul McCartney sang backing vocals.

“Wildflowers” is a popular song by American musician Tom Petty and is the opening track from the album of the same name. The song became popular in concerts but wasn’t released as a single. It charted on the Billboard Hot Rock Songs, Billboard Digital Song Sales, and Billboard Lyric Find charts. This song has become one of the most beloved in Petty’s catalog.

“Hyacinth House” is a song written and performed by the American rock band The Doors. It appears on the band’s final album with frontman Jim Morrison, L.A. Woman, in 1971. The lyrics were written by Morrison, and the music was composed by keyboardist Ray Manzarek. The lyrics to the song refer to the mythological Hyacinth, who was a beautiful youth and lover of the Greek god Apollo.

“Marigold” (originally titled “Color Pictures of a Marigold”) is a song written and composed by American rock musician Dave Grohl and was first released on Pocketwatch, an album Grohl issued under the pseudonym Late! in 1992. In 1993 a version was recorded by American rock band Nirvana as a B-side to the single “Heart-Shaped Box.” Later on, a live version was featured on the American rock band Foo Fighters’ release Skin and Bones in 2006. This gave the song “Marigold” the distinction of being the only song released by both Nirvana and Foo Fighter, Grohl’s two most distinguished bands.
