The Cube Guys turn in a defined House floor filler

THE CUBE GUYS is a club brand that was born in 2005 between two of the most prominent producers in Italy: Roberto Intrallazzi and Luca Provera. Although their backgrounds and professional training differs, their common desire to release new productions and contribute to the international club scene is equivalent. Together, they combine their previous experiences and endeavours to launch a fresh and innovative musical journey!

Roberto Intrallazzi began his musical career in the latter part of the 80’s and beginning of the 90’s as part of one of the most successful projects of the ‘made in Italy’ dance era, F.P.I. Project. Their track ‘Rich in Paradise’ received worldwide acclaim and was one of the first house music releases to come out of Italy. Over the 90’s decade, his sound evolved into more like ‘house’ of today with influences from electro of the 80’s. The combination of the strong energy and search for new rhythms typical of the 80’s along with the contemporary minimal-electronic sound further assisted with the development of Roberto’s style.

In 2000, Roberto Intrallazzi met the DJ and producer, Luca Provera who matched Roberto’s knowledge of music and technology. Luca got involved with music at a very young age by building his own recording studio and becoming familiar with the technicalities of making music. Luca utilized computers, mixers, samplers, and keyboards to launch his career as a producer and sound designer; employing both digital and analog equipment.

Luca later went on to produce a private Italian radio show and together with the artist Intrallazzi produced the album ‘The Pleasure is All Mine’ by Kym Mazelle. His radio and recording studio know-how led him to quickly gain familiarity with both the software and hardware necessary to produce quality house music. He isn’t just a quality producer however he is also a well-known DJ who plays frequently in alternative venues in Italy and all over the world. Some of the artists they have remixed include Anastacia, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Steve Angello, Moloko, Coolio, Luciana, Ultra Nate, Roger Sanchez, Bob Sinclar, Suzanne Palmer, India, Romathony, Shawn Christopher, Ralph Falcon, Fish Go Deep and Yello.

Soul Central bring a depth of Disco to the project

20 years on from first dominating the industry with a round of era defining anthems, UK’s Soul Central return with even more poignant music. Remaining pivotal in their approach serving up genre shifting releases their resilient quality remains. Now under a new guise that includes original producer Paul Timothy joined by Matt Mckillop are actively breaking down barriers that chart success brings.

Navigating from authentic Funk to raw Disco, live instrumentation interplayed with underground House, their latest songs often share a deeper edge. Their new focus has seen them align with cutting edge and classic labels, delivering both digital and vinyl releases, and are set to surpass their global hit “Strings Of Life”. Expect the occasional crossover track from this masterful duo, but don’t believe that is all they offer. Already we’re seeing the leading DJ’s from every genre championing their sound, and through the next run of releases you're going to see this picture fast unfold.

Matt brings with him a diverse edge, recommending they openly celebrate their musical roots. Originally hailing from another reputable act, he is highly respected in the industry and delivered contributions to many major releases and breakthrough projects over the past two decades.

With a clear vision and new vehicle to express the more alternate side of the Soul Central sound, expect to be hearing a lot more natural, encompassing everything from club driven cuts to Balearic gems. As they often say “This is a new beginning for everyone. We look forward to forging a fresh path and showcasing the breadth of what Soul Central has to offer. It’s amazing the support and love for our music that so many people have, so now is the perfect time to continue this legacy and serve up a greater body of work that will inspire and engage another generation.”

Expect Sgt Slick - TNTLWO (The Remixes) to land with a sizeable mark on 19th Feb 2021. This pairing alongside Sgt Slick have all achieved meteoric Spotify streams in the millions, so we foresee this one joining the ranks of a standout hit for 2021.
