The Inspiring Journey of Youth-Sensation Rapper Mukul Rock

Mukul rock is a 23-year-old Indian rapper, lyricist, YouTuber, and a dancer. The Uttarakhand boy was born on 1 December 1999 and was raised by his parents in New Delhi as his father was continuing his profession in the capital city. Mukul belongs to a family of five that consists of his father and mother along with two siblings - a brother and a sister.

Early Life & Entry In Music Industry

Ever since he started recognising and understanding music, Mukul had developed a keen interest in the music industry. He listened to prominent Indian singers during his childhood, especially those who were bringing Rap into India. This was the phase when rapping was still emerging in India as a music genre. Perhaps this was the reason behind Mukul choosing Rap style as he wanted to do something out of the box.

Now rapping is his golden goal that keeps his thriving for success every day. He did his schooling at the National Institute of Open Schooling. Open schooling is the term given to course that can be completed through self-study and there is no need to attend classes. This saved time for his dream and during that time, he rehearsed and practised on his voice to make it perfect for rapping. Rapping requires intense training to be able to speak lyrics as fast as possible while not leaving the tone. Later, he attended Delhi University and completed with Bachelor’s degree in BA programme.

These college days were his time of self-realization when Mukul thought of giving a shot to music as his career. He began his career in 2016 through YouTube when he collaborated with Mr. Vansh to present his first rap song named “Paisa”. The song immediately entered the hearts of his audience and Mukul started to gain recognition. “Paisa” officially released on YouTube on 26 January 2019. The young talent then produced more songs including “Attitude”, “Bhaut Kum”, “Downtown”, “Pehli Nazar”, and “Cold Water”. YouTube is a very popular platform for having cover songs by newcomers. How can Mukul waste his talent? He also released many cover songs in his initial career years which were highly appreciated by his fans.

Mukul Turns “A Youth Sensation”

Mukul rock turned from a normal Delhi boy to ‘Youth Sensation’. His most watched video on YouTube has a whooping 4.7k views as of now. His songs can be listened to on music platforms like SoundCloud and other. Even after earning tremendous fame and recognition from music lovers and people in the music industry, Mukul still believes in a down-to-earth lifestyle.

He regularly interacts with his fans on YouTube and his other social media handles. The rapper timely releases a song while regularly posting daily life videos and challenges also to keep entertaining his fans. His channel is growing day by day with many videos having crossed the thousand view mark.

He took inspiration from fellow artists in the industry and is a big fan of Karan Aujla, Raftaar, AP Dhillon, Justin Bieber, and DJ snake. These singers are already considered the OGs in the music industry. His latest video on YouTube is a tribute to the famous Punjabi singer, Sidhu Moose Wala.

Sidhu was a youth icon and considered as a “Legend of Punjabi Music”. He was recently murdered by a group of armed goons as a result of inter-gang rivalry. Mukul feels music is his way of connecting to hearts of people and communicating with them. He uses music a therapy to keep people happy.

Currently, Mukul is reportedly working in Indigo airlines and creates music in his leisure time. His fan base is growing day by day and he is expected to become one of the mainstream rappers of India as “The Mukul Rock”.
