What I've Been Listening To
I'm sheepishly attempting to return to blogging, but at the same time, trying to not overdo it. My brain is still a bit all over the place, but I feel like I want to actually chat about music today, so that's what I'm going to do.

This week, Adele’s “Easy On Me,” fell to number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100, which means that—provided it doesn’t step back up to number 1—it ties her hit “Hello” for ten weeks at number 1, her longest reign on the singles chart.
Kevin Scott HallPublished 2 years ago in Beat4 Healthy break-up songs from mainstream artists
During this pandemic, lockdowns and isolation lead to a lot of reflection for many of us, focusing on what really matters in life, what side we want to improve, what we could do that we didn’t dare to do before, and so on.

Encountering Meatloaf in The Rocky Horror Picture Show The first time I had an encounter with Michael Lee Aday (born Marvin Lee Aday; September 27, 1947 – Left This Mortal Plane January 20, 2022), was watching the excellent musical Richard O’ Brien’s “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” featuring Tim Curry as the sweet transvestite Dr. Frank-N-Furter - A Scientist and Meatloaf as Eddie, an Ex Delivery Boy on a Motorcycle with only half a brain who met his comeuppance with a pick axe.
Mike Singleton - MikeydredPublished 2 years ago in BeatRanking the Encanto Soundtrack from Magnificent to Good!
Encanto is a wonderful film, and I cannot stop singing its songs, or quoting its most meme worthy lines. Full of heart, and family drama, and some points about generational trauma that almost hits the nails on the heads.

Hey howdy hey, friends! I am here to rescue you. No, not from aliens, or Kim Jong-Un, or sharknadoes, but from horrible songs that you should avoid at all costs.
Lloyd FarleyPublished 2 years ago in BeatSongs to send off your 2021 self into the abyss
I have been struggling with the 2022 New Year messages to welcome our 'breakthrough' self. I see motivational visuals which portray the cleansing of 2022 self from past habits and prejudices which make my 2021 self a little fearful.

STAYC ASAP Comeback Review
Stayc made their first comeback with ASAP along with three other tracks, So What, Love Fool, and So Bad (TAK Remix). This comeback was highly anticipated because Stayc debut So Bad did very well, and they are the first group managed under High Up Entertainment, created by the famous producing duo Black Eyed Pilseung. So South Korea and international fans were very excited to hear they would make a comeback, and they did with ASAP.
WJSN Unnatural Comeback Review
WJSN made their long awaited comeback with Unnatural, and I feel like the title song perfectly describes my feelings towards this comeback.

Weeekly recently made their comeback with “Afterschool” along with the mini album, “We Play.” The girls are back with another colorful and poppy comeback, and I’m so glad they are back.
