Small Music Blogs Charging for Music Reviews

Small Music Blogs Charging for Music Reviews

In the world of music lovers and 6,000 new aspiring artists every 30 minutes, it seems as though there are becoming less and less music blogs who are actually willing to post an unsigned artists music without CHARGING THEM (or if you don't have a relationship with them). And of course, the ones who don't charge either:

    Rihanna Takes Revenge On Love

    Rihanna Takes Revenge On Love

Rihanna (29) finally found love. The Barbadian beauty fell in love with Hassan Jameel (29), a Saudi mogul. Before finding the perfect man for her, RiRi suffered many disappointments of love. The majority of her romances have been short, without depth and very much promoted by the international press. All that was in the past, since the pop star found affectionate stability in an important businessman.

How K-Pop Is Taking Over the Music Industry

How K-Pop Is Taking Over the Music Industry

Being into K-pop has never been popular, and unfortunately we have to thank PSY for that. His "Gangnam Style" put a label on K-pop that was not accurate to what this genre of music actually is like. So what is it like then? Well, let me explain.

    7 Day Theory Update

    7 Day Theory Update

For most of us, the 7-day theory isn't a new term. It's been around since Tupac's murder in 1996. Yet, a brief introduction for those who might not know. The 7-day theory is a set of clues some fans believe that Tupac left behind as clues and hints that he faked his death and will one day return. Aside from the 7-day theory, there are things surrounding his death that has always been questionable.

    Death Grips: 'Bottomless Pit' Review

I remember being so excited for this album last year. I had become a huge Death Grips fan by that point, and rarely, if ever, went a single day without listening to one of their records; but for those of you who don't know, allow me to bring you up to speed.

The Songs That Everyone Listened to, for Better or for Worse

The Songs That Everyone Listened to, for Better or for Worse

There are songs that are fashionable and mark an era. Some are of good quality and some are not. Honestly, that does not matter because they were created to amuse people and they forget about daily obligations. In those cases, the important thing is that people had a good time and it does not matter if those musicians do not have a good academic background.

    Mixtape Heat: Quentin Miller's 'Falco'

    Mixtape Heat: Quentin Miller's 'Falco'

Life is not about how many times you fall down but about how many times you get back up. Quentin Miller is not about to let a terrible accident keep him down. The Atlanta rapper was involved in a car accident last September. This accident led to Miller having to have one of his legs amputated from the calf down. Ever since the incident, Miller has been using a prosthetic leg. Tyrion Lannister once said "Never forget what you are. The rest of the world will not. Wear it like armor, and it can never be used to hurt you." Quentin Miller seems to be embracing that idea with the name of his latest mixtape Falco. Falco is a character from the video game series Star Fox. Falco is the wingman to Fox McCloud and Falco just happens to have metal legs. Just like Falco, Quentin Miller is ready to takeoff and shoot for the stars.

    Eminem Grew A Beard

    Eminem Grew A Beard

Over the last week, we've sat in silence watching as the internet has blown up over what they are calling Eminem's "New Look." I'm not staying silent any longer. This is the classic case of why Celebrities like Eminem live so much in isolation. These people put themselves out there and share their exceptional talents with the world providing a sense of Entertainment. Yet, the general population takes this for granted. They act as if because these people share that small portion of their lives. That they have the right to get involved in these people's personal lives and judge even the smallest decisions. It's a beard!!If you, or a man in your life, decided to grow a beard, would there be this much hoopla? No. We have that freedom, people like Eminem don't, and this past week is proof of that. I've bitten my tongue reading comments, like:

Review: Vince Staples 'Big Fish Theory'

Review: Vince Staples 'Big Fish Theory'

Big Fish Theory is one of the examples of the evolution and diversity of hip-hop. The album is something that your average hip-hop fan might not be compelled to listen at first but they should. The production of the album is different and innovative. In combination with the wittiness and intelligence of the bars of Vince Staples it makes for an amazing project. Big Fish Theory proves that you can make great music without trying to fit into one specific genre or approval of your peers.
