A "Conspiracy" worth listening to.
September 2022, Mons Records released a new album from multi-award-winning saxophonist, composer, and arranger Tobias Hoffmann titled "Conspiracy." Under the motto, things just keep getting bigger, this recording follows his 2019 release “Retrospective” recorded with a nine piece band and this time features a full big band. Tobias stated that throughout his journey in music “… there have been two hearts beating in my chest: on the one hand that of the saxophone player and on the other that of the composer and arranger.” When you first listen to this recording it becomes clear that on “Conspiracy” Tobias has been able to merge these two hearts into one. (press release) "Conspiracy" has recently been named in Jack Bowers' Best Jazz Albums of 2022 (allaboutjazz.com)

The Leningrad Cowboys
Introduction The Leningrad Cowboys Biography Site Today I started writing a piece that was fairly self-destroying and I thought this will be dark and depressing, and to be honest, I prefer being upbeat and positive. It was my friend Trisha’s birthday and I shared a video with her, which, in my opinion, is one of the most uplifting, maddest and impressive three minutes that I have ever seen on YouTube and it is from a DVD that I have from a concert that took place on 12 June 1993 on Senate Square in Helsinki, Finland which was attended by my friend Krista.

30 Great Songs of Donna Summer. Top Story - December 2022.
Donna Summer achieved major success throughout her career. She made it into the Top 10 with 14 songs in the US and has sold more than 100 million albums worldwide. To this day her albums still sell about 1.5 million copies per year every year and her fan base is as strong and fervent as it was in the 1970s. I love Donna Summer. Her voice was amazing. I would go so far as to call her one of the greatest vocalists of all-time.

STING OPERATIONS IN INDIA
A sting operation is one of the most used tools in investigative journalism. Many of the public servants, media houses, corrupt people, and the act of corruption are caught in sting operations and the reality came to light. The main question that arises in the case of a sting operation is the right to privacy of any individual. Media houses claim that the sting is done just for trust and justice. According to them, it's the only way the defaulters can be caught red-handed. Media also claim that in many situations such as corruption, cash for votes, etc it's justified to carry out these types of operations.

A recap 'No more demos' live at the arthouse
It's the time of the year for reflection and indulgence. We eat too much and we drink even more. It's time to end the year in style. For me, it's always a humbling experience when things go wrong and are challenging. I'm one for always learning and it's good to find out what you don't know, preferably this is done before the event happens, but that's life though it doesn't always happen how you expect. You have to expect the unexpected. So from a medical emergency at the start to a successful gig. Here is a little breakdown of how the evening went down on Saturday the 10th of December.

Polymath Actor, Recording Artist, and Filmmaker Amir Royale Releases His ‘Stories of the Lost, Rich & Tormented’ EP
From Amir Royale Sophomore year, NYU Tisch’s Clive Davis Institute, 2017. I created the concept of Stories of the Lost, Rich & Tormented as a "Writing the Hit Song: Deep Cutz" homework assignment. Over the course of 14 weeks, I crafted and reworked about 12 or so ideas. Suddenly, my songwriting professor at the time (Eren Cannata of Cove City Sound Studios, Facethouse Records & Warner Chapel Music), directed us to use all the content we created thus far to formulate an EP. This project would then become one we’d pitch and present to potential A&R scouts. It was our final project. I curated 5 of my best records across the class to showcase a conceptual narrative and description of greed, lust, and youth insecurity within American culture. It is the final entry within my four-EP-long music chronicle (dating back to my 2015 EP, This Is for You.). To let this project go free finally—feels like a blessing. Thank you.
