Getting to know music artist Stevvon Valentino
My name is Stevvon Valentino, and I am from the west side of Chicago, Illinois, born and raised. My liking in music was sparked by my family, who all do music, vocally and instrumentally. I love music because it holds the power to control emotions, as well as tell a story to the listener, and could either be so straightforward, or can leave it up to them how to take it. As an artist I love to feel in control of my music, and be able to make someone happy, encourage them, or give them knowledge in a way they'll better remember. Also, music changed my life. As someone with epilepsy, a good night's rest was something I got every blue moon. Listening to music was the only thing that could prevent me from going into seismic shock, and I can remember one day after singing the words to my favorite song "Jesus Jesus Jesus" by Timothy Wright, my seizures stopped occurring. Music saved my life so essentially music is my life.
Jason JamesPublished 2 years ago in BeatHow Hard Is It to Say Goodbye to the Drummer Legend Taylor Hawkins
He contributed so much to the Foo Fighters that he was made a co-star alongside Dave Grohl. It's a rare case in pop music these days where a rock band retains that youthful, high school spirit of a rock band, where everyone is important and everyone works together for the collective project.

The Vocal Creators Chronicle used a Tom Waits image and quote and I thought of the many times I tell people about Tom Waits and am immediately shunned as a weirdo (though that’s not the only reason.
Mike Singleton - MikeydredPublished 2 years ago in BeatSouthside Johnny Has Long Answered the Classic Rock Call
Photo by Carl Lender Southside Johnny Lyon of classic rock fame grew up on the Jersey Shore Club scene with the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Stevie Van Zandt, and a full gamut of R&B performers that the mid 60’s offered. In full collaborative mode, they learned from each other and made their bones before Springsteen hit it big in 1975. But coming from a home where blues musicians like Billie Holiday, Muddy Waters and Big Joe Turner were always playing, he never really considered a career in music until he made the most of stealing his brother’s instrument of choice.

30! It's a huge milestone for many people. It is a time when everybody expects your 'adult' life to really start and as such, there is a huge responsibility and pressure that comes with the age. 30 is also a monumental time for people who have gone through it. They have described it as a time of wisdom, self-assuredness, and self-awareness so there's also a lot to look forward to.
