80s music
The 80s were chockful of New Wave power ballads, synthesizers, drum machines, and no shortage of Madonna and Michael Jackson.
5 Legendary Musical Feuds
In the world of music, competition is rife. Be it bands, record labels or artists, there is always one entity striving to do better than the rest of their contemporaries. Even musicians who once worked alongside each other in the past may end up competing with one another somewhere down the line.
Quiet Storm Classics
In the 1970s several sub genres of R & B and soul came to life including funk with musicians such as Parliament, George Clinton, Bootsy Collins, Sly and the Family Stone and Stevie Wonder. Introduction Seriously I did not know how I could approach this. I became exposed to Roger Dean's artwork as a teenager and was immediately hooked by his fantastical imagery. His website is below.

Introduction I was wondering if I could create a playlist of songs I love about places, because I love the place or have a great friend who lives there or it is just a beautiful song that makes me want to go there. We all love something that gives us a feeling of warmth, comfort and longing.

Introduction A lot of these bands are no longer with us but all of them were worth seeing when they were performing. A lot are still going as well so all is not lost. Page’s father drove him up the coast with all his luggage, but the surfboard stayed in SB. His mother made sure of that. Page had been able to smuggle his wetsuit, however. His mother had insisted that it stay, but at the last minute, Page threw it into the car trunk from where he kept it in the garage. He was on the road before his mother noticed it was missing. Page knew his dad didn’t care if he brought it. His dad just wanted to keep things cool with mom or else he had no peace either. Page and his dad were on the same wavelength. They knew the main problem was keeping mom from freaking. She was a real bitch from hell when she did.
