Straight talk part 2:the conclusion
A classic

Before I go on, I would like to say rest in peace to Dolly Parton. Now being at the uncurable optimist and dreamer and wish her that Shirley Kenyon‘s character is in the movie one after my own heart by the way she goes to the Chicago Bridge while she’s still looking for work and you know it does makes her wish and the reporter that she meets played by James Woods named Jack. I think she’s trying to kill herself and then you know after that whole thing I think I covered that in the last article part one of this so she goes to a diner in search of I did cover this now now and so just in case I didn’t sure Kenyon‘s character goes to a radio station was hiring a receptionist then after she screws up as a receptionist before she leaves, she asked the reception if she if she can have a cup of coffee, she goes into the studio. The engineer is looking for this doctor radio doctor that the Radio manager hired played by Griffin Dunn, the radio manager and Shirley Kenyon is on the air, giving advice and the radio boss hears here in his car and has a funny solo act in his car like saying funny stuff for instance, what is going on over there when he’s trying to call him because you know nobody wants to speak to Shirley Canyon And he’s talking to himself had a vision his own dial. All he saying I can be saying this stuff just just a really way a funny way to enter the movie and Griffin done. Does a great job. You know one man comedy dialogue to himself in his in his Cadillac on the way back to work.
So after the show ends, they’re all congratulating themselves for a job well done, and then the radio boss comes in and it’s like showing great in such comedic form was given done and then and then he’s like who the hell are you and then the engineer says what happened in a mistake and then he says you’re both fired and then you know just some really funny lines from Griffin Dunn‘s character. And so then miraculously, the people love Shirley Kenyon, Dr. Shirley as she would be known and so she goes to her hotel, thinking she’s screwed up and stuff so she enters her hotel and there’s a limousine driver waiting for her that you know after the popular demand the radio boss decides she’s worth it and stuff and that’s where her beautiful, beautiful well-deserved Cinderella story really Kicks off as a Chicago advice doctor.
Another thing that makes this movie. A great movie in my opinion is the fact that Jerry Orbach and it has the press as the as Jack’s boss at the newspaper and he works for so he sends Jack to do a story on Shirley and you know everything and you know, they have a great relationship and then somehow after because Jack’s doing some digging about her Meets her husband I mean ex-husband and you know everything starts to backfire on Shirley unfortunately and then after the story, you should get this and rightfully so like you know, doesn’t wanna see Jack anymore and then she sees one of the wives of the call. She give advice and decides to end her whole you know talk and just start being honest with everybody and then She doesn’t realize how loved a radio personnel she became, and then at the end everybody’s honking their horns for surely and it’s just a beautiful ending and a really lovely story. I think that.
