Steps to take as an UNSIGNED ARTIST

Now a days it seems like everyone wants to be a rapper/singer. But truthfully no different from people wanting to be doctors and nurses. The only difference is most people doing those jobs know that it requires some skills or willingness to learn. If you don't have that will then you should probably stop right here.

NOW time to get started 1st step is mindset, yep that's right mindset just like other work and entertainment if you do not possess the right mind set this game will break you. Can you deal with consent rejection ? and not by just outsiders close friends and family? to have what almost seems like no one believing in you. You have to be strong enough to withstand everything that comes at you and keep going. Take criticism and analyze it to become better and smarter. Everyone who doesn't like your music is not a hater or want to see you down. Sometimes your mix isn't right your lyrics aren't all the way there and the message your trying to convey is not coming across the way you intend it to.

What you need to do find out what your sound is what artist you sound like and how does your song sound after one of those songs goes off and yours come on . I know your thinking how can my song stand up to that! well that's the thing its not suppose to its just supposed to mix in well because believe it or not if it doesn't mix in well nobody will even give it a chance because they can tell right from the start you haven't even given it a chance. You got you levels all over the place the songs not smooth and even if you are saying something your vocals don't match the beat. This is one of the biggest problems I see ! would u serve a uncooked chicken, fix a car with no tools, do surgery with one scalpel ? no right so why would you promote and advertise a unfinished unmastered song. imagen showing up to a job interview with your PJs on. You have basically already said I don't really want this job I just need someone to pay me.

They probably will pay you no attention. 2nd you have to understand if you want to grow you have to be willing to invest in yourself. It will cost money to make money all the time you have to pay for gas to get to work and you have to get supplies to do certain jobs effectively. Never be to entitled and think just because you made something everyone should appreciate it. Once your mind set is right your ready to take the steps to humbling beginnings.
