It was written by John DeFaria, Jorge Casas, and Clay Ostwald and produced by Emilio Estefan, Jr. Gloria Estefan was backed by the Miami Sound Machine and this is considered a real dance hit.

“Barefoot Blue Jean Night” is a song written by Dylan Altman, Eric Paslay, and Terry Sawchuk. It was recorded by American country music artist Jake Owen. The song is the seventh single of his career and was released in 2011 and is the first single from his album of the same name. The song rose to number one on the Billboard Hot Country Song chart. The song also made its debut on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and in 2013 it was certified double Platinum by the RIAA.
