This is a short series of songs written for each day of the week. I begin with songs with Monday in the title and will add the links to each one below as I progress.

A classic and memorable song “Ruby Tuesday” was recorded by the English rock band The Rolling Stones in 1966. It became their fourth number one hit in the US and charted on the UK charts. The song was included in the American version of Between the Buttons and is ranked at number 310 on Rolling Stone magazine’s list of The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time. This song became a staple of the band’s compilations including Through the Past Darkly, Hot Rocks 2964 – 1971 among others.

“Tuesday Afternoon” is a 1968 song that was written by Justin Hayward and recorded by the English rock band The Moody Blues. It is featured on their 1967 album Days of Future Passed. Hayward said he wrote the song on a Tuesday afternoon in Lypiatt Park in western England near Stroud, It was a place where his mother had taken him and his brother while they were children.

Taco Tuesday” is a song that was released by the American hip-hop trio Migos in 2020. It became a popular anthem capturing the attention of all music lovers. The song has charming lyrics and a catchy beat. It was written as a celebration of the American tradition of having tacos on Tuesdays. It not only sings of the love of tacos but also of a shared love for Mexican cuisine.

On Tuesday” is a song that was recorded by the Canadian New Wave and synth-pop band Men Without Hats from Montreal, Quebec. Their music is known by the baritone voice of lead singer Ivan Dodroschuk and by their use of synthesizers and electronic processing. Tuesday’s Gone” is a song recorded by the American rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd and is on their debut album. It has been covered by many other bands and singers like the American heavy metal band Metallica.

"Tuesday’s Dead” is a popular song that was recorded by British singer and songwriter Cat Stevens. It is featured on his 1971 album Teaser and the Firecat. It’s a heartfelt song with poignant lyrics and a soulful melody. The song paints a portrait of life’s struggles and the importance of always finding hope and not giving up. The title of the song refers to the metaphorical death that comes with the passing of time and emphasizes letting go of the past and embracing the present.

Tuesday I’ll Be Gone” is a song that was recorded by American singer John Anderson. It is featured on his 2020 album Years. The song also features the guest vocals of American singer Blake Shelton. Anderson wrote it with Dany Auerbach and David Ferguson. It was released as the second single from the 2020 album.
