So put on the party hats, set out the noise makers, and get ready to ring out the old year and ring in the new while singing, dancing, and waiting for the stroke of midnight and partying into the brand New 2024 Year.

"Same Old Lang Syne" is a song that was written and recorded by American singer and songwriter Dan Fogelberg. The melody is based on the 1812 Overture by Tchaikovsky and ends with “Auld Lang Syne” as a soprano saxophone solo by American jazz saxophonist and composer Michael Brecker. It was released as a single in 1980 and is featured on his album The Innocent Age, The song is an autobiographical narrative ballad told in the first person. The story is about two long-ago romantic interests who meet by chance in a grocery store on Christmas Eve. The song charted on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and has been added to the list of holiday songs.

"What Are You Doing New Year's Eve?" is a popular song that was written in 1947 by American songwriter Frank Loesser as an independent song. It was first recorded by the American R&B group The Orioles in 1949. It became a holiday classic when it was recorded in 1984 by the American vocal duo The Carpenters. The song became a popular choice for New Year’s Eve celebrations. It is featured on their Christmas Collection album.

Happy New Year” has become a very popular holiday song that was recorded in 1980 by the Swedish pop group ABBA. It is featured on their album Super Trouper with lead vocals by Agnetha Faltskog. The song’s Spanish version “Felicidad” was released in Spanish-speaking countries, In December 2011, a silver glitter vinyl single limited to 500 copies was released, including the songs “Happy New Year” and “The Way Old Friends Do”. It was sold out within a day of the release being announced.

"Auld Lang Syne (The New Year's Anthem)" is a song by American singer and songwriter Mariah Carey. It is featured on her 2010 album Merry Christmas II You and the second single released from it, Using the Robert Burns poem “Auld Lang Syne” Carey with Randy Jackson and Johnny “Sev” Severin composed a new arrangement, added lyrics, and re-titled it.

New Year’s Day” is a song recorded by the American rock band Bon Jovi. Jon Bon Jovi said the song was created at a difficult time and is “about the rebirth of the band”.

Let’s Start the New Year Right” is a song that was recorded by American singer and actor Bing Crosby. It was written by Irving Berlin and featured in the 1942 film “Holiday Inn”. The film has also become a holiday classic and is well worth seeing especially with the combined talents of Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire.

"It's the End of the World as We Know It (And I Feel Fine)" is a song by the American rock band R.E.M. and is featured on their 1987 album Document. It was released as the second single in 1987. The song charted on both the Billboard Hot 100 and UK Singles charts. Even though the song was not a very big hit it had an apocalyptic/upbeat chorus and became listed among holiday songs.

Bringing In a Brand New Year” is a song recorded by American singer and pianist Charles Brown,

New Year’s Eve is a song recorded by American songwriter, musician, and actor Tom Waits. The song incorporates “Auld Lang Syne” into the chorus.
