Natalîe

As if Music for the next generation has not become an road block for aspiring musicians, we certainly have seen a spike in young talent over the course in the digital era. For some hidden gems we rarely come across those who are willing to educate themselves in the business and take their own shares of experience to their adavantge and flip themselves in multiple threats in the industry.

Natalie a young musician, producer and engineer has come packing with all the means of being successful. I am not crossing this multi-talented woman as someone with wishful thinking, but with someone that has the ability to attack and settle her own. Not only is she a promising producer, gifted singer, but also business smarts. It seems that many young music artist get in way over their heads in times of politics and legalities that slip their views. But Natalie is on Boss level who won’t take kindly to shady side of the music world, so let’s get into this East Coast musical trailer.

Native to Texas; America’s musical hotspot, Natalie has come along way making a name for herself while at the same time living up to her own name as several other Latin artist named Natalie have paved their way in music. Latin R&B Icon Natalie (Alvarado) made Billboard History for being one of the first Latina’s to enter the Billboard 200 with an R&B Album without having to cross a Pop Chart unlike Jennifer Lopez. Then their is the Contemporary Spanish singer Natalíe who took on the Latin Grammys with record breaking marks in the Latin American Community. This Natalie we have is well on her way to the Mariah Carey Level as she produces, writes and creates all on her own and soon will be branch out to create music for artist who haven’t yet reached their peaks yet.

Getting the chance to chat with the young innovator was a pleasure as I had one of the most full fling interviews of my career as a music journalist.

Q. Do you Consider yourself a starving artist or rising star?

A. “I am in between both. I’m starving but also on the rise up (or so I’d like to think).”

Q. Do you consider it a risky move going into the music entertainment ?

A. “It is definitely risky and expensive, but I think it’s worth it. The only way I know how to express myself is through music”.

Q. How do you rank your skills as a performer?

A. “10/10”.

Q. What is a misconception in the music industry do you think that puts a bad influence on young entertainers?

A. “Sex sells. As a young woman in entertainment, you don’t have to be overtly sexual if you are uncomfortable with that. I think it’s thrown at out there so much that it almost feels like a need to include sex into every track, album art, etc. if it feels natural then go for it but never do anything if you feel forced into it. While sex can sell, relatability will always be king”.

Q. Do you feel label control negatively affects musicians?

A. “It really depends on the deal an artist signs. The more control and attic freedom you can keep, the better”.

Q. What is the goal in the long run for your career?

A. “I want to make music that’ll make millions of people cry like I want to make the most mind bending music I can”.

Q. Can we expect a benefit performance in the near future?

A. “I would love too!”

Q. What’s one ambition you have had for the longest time?

A. “To go platinum all by myself”

Q. What is competition to you in your journey?

A. “I am my own competition. I am striving to beat my old self every day”.

Q. How do you feel about ‘Bullet Radio Stations’ that lock in musical artist on the Billboard Chart?

A. “The whole system is rigged. Fuck Radio and Payola”.

Natalie has certainly taken time unlike other to truly better herself because in the long run she is dependent on herself to get where she needs to be because in the time where labels fall flat and indie artist are on the rise she has developed the cutting edge expertise on what to divide and conquer in the trials that lay ahead. Whether it’s radio waves and air streams, big marketing frenzy don’t make this starlet timid at all, neither does the mickmery of other artist or the over hype of management buying fans to sell their musicians.

Natalie also has the means of developing her own artist and creating the rights of media platforms that will make music back to being about music and the progression of passionate music makers in this mad world of money hungry business. She is creating her own lane to like of Timbland and the Dream and who knows maybe in the future we could see her and the Natalies that have come before make magic happen. Please check out her latest projects below and thank you for your time.
