I don't know about anyone else but I loved the 90's music days of R&B, The '90s may be the last decade when R&B, not hip-hop, was the dominant force in black music. What made me mention this is one day online I saw a gentlemen by the name of Bobby Washington on Facebook, he is an innovative producer, a powerful songwriter and singer, a charismatic stage performer, an undiscovered pioneer and entrepreneur to aspiring independent artists. Bobby Washington has personally sold over 20,000 copies of his CD albums literally from the trunk of his car.

Bobby Washington has many years of experience in music production and digital recording, mixing and mastering. The talented Bobby Washington found his niche when he was a recording artist with Up Front Records, an independent label in Miami, Florida. He educated himself to know the music industry. Bobby believed that “If you want something done, do it yourself!” He stepped out on faith to make his dream a reality by producing, writing and singing his own music.

R&B music is one of the easiest genres of music to recognise. It is often a mix of soul, hip hop, funk, and pop.R&B music in the 90's was emotional the artist wasn't afraid to show how they truly feel about their situation. Not only did they have dope R&B beats, but the lyrics captivated you and helped you through life's ups and downs. R&B has changed a little such as, a major change in the exploration of sound, as DJing and rapping became more prevalent in music. To me only certain singers have that feel of the R&B music song that is unique, this is the reason why I mentioned bobby washington.

I used to think R&B music was the same but there is a difference Soul is a collection of sub-genres of R&B, differentiated from the other sub-genres by a greater influence from gospel music. When an R&B song sounds like it would be at home in the church if you swapped out the subject with God, Jesus, or Mary, then it is probably soul music. I wrote this story to just remind people and myself of how much R&B music has changed in the new 2022 years. The '90s Were the Best Decade, Thanks to Its Amazing Pop Culture. ... Pick an area of pop culture, and the '90s consciousness still reigns supreme. It was a better time because there was nowhere else we wanted to be, and everyone was free to be themselves.
