Prince reigns at the 2007 NFL Superbowl half time shown

To me Prince's 2007 performance at the Super Bowl was the best performance of all time and I say not only because I am a lifelong Prince fan but also because his performance was the best ever and they are still talking about it. His performance was nothing short of supernatural and phenomenal. I don't remember which football teams were playing against each other that year but this Prince was the thing to remember and the only reason why I watched at all just to see Prince kick ass as he had always done and should still be here, May Prince rest in Power and Peace.

To prove it Prince played against the elements of the rain storm people were telling Prince maybe he shouldn't performed but Prince being the awesome phenomenon he powered through and pulled off another unforgettable performance. He did his hits and some of his new stuff and his stage was in the shape of his symbol name. Nobody remembers who won the Superbowl that year but everybody remembers the Prince performance that year. He had his dancers and his band the New Power Generation who also gave their all 100% and nothing less than the best.

Prince was a trooper he wasn't going to let the weather stop him from performing at the Superbowl half time show, no sir. In fact the performance went forward because Prince said so and I say thank you Prince! When Prince did his performance it was never a performance what it was was a mini concert that blew the crowd away and left the world rocked. Of course, no Prince performance would be without a tiny controversy when Prince was behind the curtain with his symbol guitar some were saying it looked like a penis. Prince was more powerful than the rain.

I consider myself lucky to be able to have seen Prince and this performance and as a Prince fan I consider myself to be blessed and lucky and the whole experience is nothing to be ever taken for granted. Prince wore a royal outfit fit for a king that he is and was and forever will remain. I think he also had played a pre concert to his Superbowl performance that would go down in history. There have been other performances at the Superbowl half time show from other iconic performers in music history but Prince's performance blew the rest of them out of the water.

Even if you were not a Prince fan you remember that half time show, I guarantee that. Prince's performance at the Superbowl half time show actually set a new standard and raised the bar higher as well as the stakes and truthfully no one since has been able to reach that. I know that at half time people do what they got to do but I have a feeling that when Prince performed everyone was frozen in their tracks to see the man, the myth, the legend, the icon known as Prince.

When Prince changed his name officially he became king. Prince once again proved it that "ain't nobody bad like me" in a good sense of the word. When Prince would performed he always gave it his all either it was paid or free in 1996 when his album "emancipation" came out he did a concert live from his Paisley Park compound. Prince was and is and so shall always remain music the embodiment in human form. His performances throughout his career have always been magic in every sense that you can imagine being like that. In closing Long Live Prince!
