"Let's get weird!'"

If you haven't noticed by now, Post Malone has been blowing up the rap scene. He now officially has three albums out: Post Malone EP (2015), Stoney 92016, and Beerbongs and Bentleys (2018). " Beerbongs and Bentleys recently came out two days ago, but it has already broken the first-day streaming record both globally (78,744,748) and in the U.S. (47,930,039) on Spotify! The Album has 18 songs and they are as follows:

  1. "Paranoid"
  2. "Spoil My Night"
  3. "Rich and Sad" feat. Swae Lee
  4. "Zack and Codeine"
  5. "Takin' Shots"
  6. "Rockstar" feat. 21 Savage
  7. "Over Now"
  8. "Psycho" feat. Ty Dolla $ign
  9. "Better Now"
  10. "Ball for Me" feat. Nicki Minaj
  11. "Otherside"
  12. "Stay"
  13. "Blame it on me"
  14. "Same Bitches" feat. G-Eazy and YG
  15. "Jonestown (Interlude) "
  16. " 92 Explorer"
  17. "Candy Paint"
  18. "Sugar Wraith"

"Paranoid"— "A paranoid man, makes paranoid plans." This song is very sad for a true fan to hear. It talks about Post struggling with depression and anxiety. He also talks about being paranoid that something bad is going to happen. Maybe that someone is going to break into his house, or something even worse. I hope that no one actually finds out where he lives, because he tells you where some of his money is hidden! Overall I really enjoyed the song and the chorus!

"Spoil my Night" feat. Swae Lee—I have a feeling that this is going to become a huge hit for Stoney! This is a "Banger." It has amazing vocals from Posty and Swae Lee, and you can clearly understand every word. Great song!

"Rich and Sad"—The lyrics are sad, even though the beat is fire! He talks about throwing everything away for someone and wishing that the money made this said person stay. Don't worry, Posty, you have lots of fans that would gladly come home to party with you at your empty house. ME INCLUDED!

"Zack and Codeine"—You don't need Mr. Moseby to tell you that he is referencing the old Disney channel show called The Suite life of Zack and Cody. I think Dylan and Cole Sprouse would be proud! He talks about partying in the hotel lobby in the beginning of the song, and all of us 90s babies would know that that is forbidden! He is speaking to the child in all of us, along with amazing vocals and the beat to match! I love the nostalgia!

"Takin Shots"—This song has a great beat and vocals, but it honestly is not my favorite song on the album!

"Rockstar" feat. 21 Savage—Honestly unless you have been living under a rock, you know this song by heart already. It is constantly playing on the radio, and with good reason!

"Over Now"—This song definitely goes hard. You can hear the hurt and emotion in his voice. I also really love the chorus too. It sounds like a good breakup song! Watch out T-Swift! Posty is coming for you!

"Psycho"—"I'm like WHOOOOOAAAA!" If you have a radio in your car, or anywhere in your vicinity, you've definitely heard this song before. Great vibes! Did you know an "AP" is a watch? Because I had no idea!

"Better Now"—I'm "Better Now" for hearing this song! This is one of my favorite songs off of the album. Great beat, vocals, and overall the lyrics are incredibly catchy! If you follow Post Malone on Facebook, then you probably also saw the video of the Fucking Jonas Brothers vibing to this song, where he references them in the song's lyrics. "I'm Rollin', Rollin', Rollin', with my brothers like it's Jonas." Love it! Go listen to this song right now!

"Ball For Me"—This could end up being a hit, just because it has Nicki Minaj in it. Honestly, it's not my favorite. I think it would have been much better if he had collaborated with Cardi B. Nothing against Nicki, but I feel like Cardi B's voice just would have complimented his better. Plus, with how much Cardi has been in the media lately, the album could have blown up even more with the extra fans buying it.

"Otherside"—It's a slow song at first with heartfelt lyrics...like most of Posty's songs. Then towards the middle, the beat picks up with the chorus. Love it!

"Stay"—A slow and extremely emotional song. Definitely another favorite of mine on the album. I get the vibes that the song has the potential to take off just like "I Fall Apart" did. Love the song overall. Another one to go and listen to right now! You can even find it on Youtube now, because he sung it when he did the concert for Bud Lite!

"Blame It on Me"—A slower song that has build. The ideal song from Stoney. Amazing vocals!

"Same Bitches" feat. G-Eazy and YG—TWERK ALERT!! This song has a very catchy beat and lyrics. I think that adding YG and G-Eazy to the song was a great choice, because they give the song something extra, and it could really help the song get onto the Billboard Hot 100!

“Jonestown (Interlude)—Even though this song is only about two minutes long, it has a lot of meaning behind it. The song references the infamous Jonestown cult massacre. It talks about the massacre in a very sincere way. "I'm hesitant, but I guess I'll drink the Kool-Aid once again" references blindly trusting something that may have some very dangerous consequences, and it can be traced back to Jim Jones (The leader of the cult) convincing his congregation to drink Grape ‘Kool-Aid’ poisoned with cyanide that resulted in 909 casualties.

"92 Explorer"—"Oh baby! " This also has the potential to become another hit song for him! Has a nice beat, and it's definitely going to be one of the songs you dance to in a future club!

"Candy Paint"—You guys! This song has been a favorite of mine since it made its appearance in The Fate of the Furious movie series. Great club and dance song. I constantly have this song on repeat! If you haven't heard this song before, then you are missing out!

"Sugar Wraith"—I love the beat and the chorus. Honestly it's not my favorite on the album, but it is a good song overall. I just do not find it as relatable as the others.

Overall, the album is amazing and I love all of the songs! The lyrics are as relatable as they come, and by talking about depression and anxiety in some of the songs, it really hit home for me. I know this was a long time in the making for Post Malone and I feel like he really took his time with this one and gave us something amazing. This album exceeded my expectations, as someone who has been a fan since the beginning. I hope he continues to be himself and create music that we all love!
