Here's my weekly segment #OverloadMondays, where I'm covering the past week of all new music.

Okay so here's some of what happened last week (6/12-18).

DJ Khaled is known for bringing together some major heat, or “major key(s),” in music. This week he brought together Rihanna and Bryson Tiller for his new joint “Wild Thoughts” - watch the video above. This is the latest taste for the upcoming album Grateful, to which his son Asahd is the executive producer for. Asahd doesn’t talk yet, but he's producing albums. This kid is good, I wish I were him. Produced by Khaled and Nasty Beatmakers, as well as co-written by PARTYNEXTDOOR - watch the video below. Khaled is taking over this summer for sure.

A$AP Ferg dropped four songs this week: “Nia Long,” “Aw Yea” ft Lil Yachty, “Furious Ferg,” and “Plain Jane.”

While Cam’ron’s been teasing an album for the longest, he finally came out to say not only is he working on an album, but two albums and a movie. Along with the news, he released a new single titled “D.I.A.” - short for Done It All.

Lenny Grant teams up with 50 Cent and Jeremih on his new joint “On & On.” Released over the weekend, I’ve already caught it on the radio. While we know him for Uncle Murda, he’s decided to stick with his government name: Lenny Grant. This is the first release under the new (well original) name, and I’m excited to see what else the newest G Unit recruit has in store.

Jhené Aiko and Chris Brown got together for the track “Hello Ego (Don’t Stop).” The single is from his 40-track double-album Heartbreak on a Full Moon. As his eighth studio album, it is slated to drop sometime this month.

Calvin Harris brings together Pharrell, Katy Perry, and Big Sean for his latest summer effort “Feels.” His Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1 is set to release June 30th. Pharrell also released a new joint for the movie Despicable Me 3, “There’s Something Special."

Among the many other releases this week, we have: Mpulse's “Let Me Breath”, PnB Rock’s “Feelins” and “Time”, KYLE’s “Nothing 2 Lose”, Majid Jordan “One I Want” featuring PND, and Chevy Woods’ “Alright."

Big Boi, of Outkast, released his third solo album, titled Boomiverse. This is his first solo album in five years. Yes, five years! The album features Snoop Dogg, Sleepy Brown, Kurupt, Curren$y, Killer Mike and more. Oh and let’s not forget the reunion Big Boi brought together between Gucci Mane and Pimp C. This album is life itself. Stream it above, but do yourself a favor and cop it over at iTunes. To pay homage, my favorite blog - 2DopeBoyz - created “The Ultimate Outkast Album.” Check it out, it's a must.

2 Chainz dropped a new album, Pretty Girls Like Trap Music. Since he revealed the tracklist, he had us excited with features from Drake, Tavi$ Scott, Gucci Mane, Jhené AIko, Pharrell, Monica…this album has some serious heat. The 16-track project is available to stream on Spotify, but cop it over at iTunes.

We’ve also seen releases from newbies H.E.R. with the soulful Vol. 2, and Joyner Lucas and his nasty bars on his debut album 508-507-2209. Stream Joyner Lucas’ album on Spotify, but show love and cop it over at iTunes. We also got a new album from Young Thug, Beautiful Thugger Girls - stream on Spotify but cop it via iTunes.

We’ve been bombarded by “4:44” ads everywhere we turn. They flooded Time Square, and other main cities. I recently spent the weekend in Downtown Philly and guess what, “4:44” busses and cabs were everywhere. During Game 3 of the NBA Finals, a commercial for “4:44” aired. While we first assumed it was promotion for the long-rumored thirteenth album, the commercial turned out to be for a movie. A movie?! Yes, a movie starring Oscar winners Mahershala Ali, Lupita Nyong’o and Danny Glover.

This may only be available to Sprint x TIDAL users since Sprint purchased 33 percent of Hov’s streaming service back in January. Album or short film, I’m still interested. HOWEVER! Over the weekend, Jay Z announced that 4:44 officially will be released June 30th. A day for both movie and music releases, so what will it be? So far, it’s for sure an album. Probably following his wife Beyoncé’s footsteps, 4:44 will most likely be a visual album. We'll just have to wait till June 30th to see.
