Just some suggestions of artists or bands

As proved by many different artists, bands, and crowds, everyone’s taste in music is different, some only slightly different than one’s own, while some very drastically. Now, with hundreds of music streaming apps, you can listen to whatever, or whoever you want, whenever or wherever you want. It’s easy to get lost on Apple Music or Spotify though, so here’s a few artists/bands with different genres.

The big ones: From Rock to Electronic. Of course, AC/DC is one of the biggest, and most recognized bands for Rock’n’Roll, Hard Rock, Blues Rock, and Heavy Metal. A Day To Remeber, along with Reel Big Fish, are also huge bands that are worth listening to if you enjoy rock. On the other end of the spectrum, or just in a different genre, Electric Light Orchestra Andy Owl City are good examples of Electronic music to listen to, being easy to listen to, and with many provided subtexts in the songs. A current electronic artist, would be Marshmello, who makes music mostly with no lyrics.

Next: Rapping (Hip Hop) to Lofi. Currently, rap is one of, if not the biggest, genres the new generation enjoys. Eminem, Migos, and Drake are several examples of rap-style music in today’s modern culture, while Shaggy, Snoop Dogg, and Dr. Dre set the stage for these current rappers, or hip-hoppers. Lofi, however, consists of mostly instrumental music, with low and soft singing throughout the music, which sets the mood for a date night. Examples of Lofi artists would be Joji, Monsune, and Kooma, some of the best examples of lofi music, which also usually consists of retro and old sound effects, like a vinyl sound effect in the background

After that: Pop to Jazz. Pop music was very popular during the 2010’s up to mid-2010’s, when more and more people began listening to rap and hip-hop. Michael Jackson, Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, and of course, Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, and Katy Perry, helped build and provide a stable basis for this genre of music, which is very peppy and catchy, somewhat like Electronic, but with more pizazz. Jazz, however, has been making a comeback, with famous artists and singers such as Louis Armstrong and Frank Sinatra becoming more widely-known artists to today’s generation. Jazz, depending on the tempo and rhythm of the specific song, can vary from being very soft and slow, to loud and being from an ‘80’s nightclub.

Following those: Easy-listening to Country. Easy-listening artists, such as Michael Buble, Kenny G, and The Carpenters, make their music light yet spirited, allowing it to be easy to listen to, but also easy to understand the meaning behind the music. Country music artists such as John Denver, Dolly Parton, Carrie Underwood, and Garth Brooks, make their music about living in the countryside, leaving the busy town, and becoming a person who lives in the moment. Country music can be either slow or fast and hard-hitting, depending on the artist, and can vary between meanings. Some country music is very in and of itself, country, because certain and specific songs describe what it would be like to own a ranch, work with animals, and produce your own food, while other country music talks about leaving busy places and getting a place to rest for yourself, just to get away from the noise.

Well, that about wraps us up, that being as much music I can provide bands and information on for now, since I’m currently busy with making some. Anyways, Stan signing out, so I’ll see ya in another article.
