My Thoughts on Why Michael Jackson's Music Should Not Be Banned

Michael Jackson's Music

Whether you are a Michael Jackson fan or not, saying you should never be able to listen to his music is a bit too far, don't you think?

Michael Joseph Jackson was born on August 29, 1958 in Gary, Indiana, United States. Michael Jackson is a singer, songwriter, dancer, and is known as, The King of Pop. Michael Jackson died on June 25, 2009. His death remains a conspiracy, although people have said that Jackson took an overdose of drugs prescribed by his doctor. But that's what I want to talk about.

I heard news that radio stations, producers, and directors want to ban Jackson's music, because of recent rumors that have been said about Leaving Neverland, and three witnesses came forward to say that Michael Jackson sexually abused them. I'm sorry, but why say it now, and not back when Michael Jackson was alive. Now people are looking for evidence of something that happened almost twenty or thirty years ago. But also telling people we can't listen to Jackson's music anymore, because of the recent rumors that have come forward. Many radio stations have said that they will still keep playing Michael Jackson's music, because they don't see the point on banning music from someone who died almost ten years ago.

King of Pop

In the 1950s and 1960s people were told what music they could, or couldn't, listen to, and that's not right. Everyone has the right to listen to any music, any artist, and any band they want to. Michael Jackson stood trial for sexual assault before, and was found not guilty. But for three other witnesses to come forward, and say the same thing, long after Jackson is dead, is a bit much and a bit suspicious. I understand everyone has their own opinion when it comes to that situation. But that is just my own opinion about it.

Michael Jackson may have done some weird and controversial things in the past, but asking for his music to be banned is a bit much. There are still massive Micheal Jackson fans out there that still believe Jackson is innocent in all of this. But Michael Jackson is dead, and can't defend himself, and give his side of the story. Telling people we can't listen to Jackson's music anymore, because of the recent rumors that have come forward is a bit much when i heard about it.

Don't let anyone tell you what music you can, or can't, listen to.

This is just my own opinion on the situation. I know everyone has their own opinion, and I respect that. But I don't want anyone to tell me what music I can, or can't, listen to; that's not the way of living, and no one should tell you what music you can, or can't, listen to. There are still massive Micheal Jackson fans out there that still believe Jackson is innocent in all of this. But Michael Jackson is dead, and can't defend himself, and give his side of the story of the situation. I think telling people we can't listen to Jackson's music anymore because of the recent rumors that have come forward is a bit much when I heard about it.

Whether you are a Michael Jackson fan or not, saying you should never be able to listing to his music is a bit too far, don't you think? It seems a little suspicious. I just don't understand why someone would start a rumor, and then the whole world would stop and talk about it. It doesn't make any sense to me at all. Michael Jackson is dead, and I think everyone needs to realize that Michael Jackson is dead, and rumors like that shouldn't be discussed.

Again this is just my opinion on the whole things. The point I was really trying to make was: don't let anyone tell you what music you can, or can't, listen to. You can listen to any music, genre, artist or band you want to.

It's your choice.
