Lil Nas X, the groundbreaking homosexual recording artist, has done it again. With his controversial new video, the musician pushes fresh, new limits, depicting him having a ball – no pun intended – while imprisoned at Montero State Prison.

Lil Nas X, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and media personality. He rose to prominence with the release of his country rap single "Old Town Road",which first achieved viral popularity in early 2019 before climbing music charts internationally and becoming diamond certified by November of that same year.

Industry Baby" is a song by American rapper and singer Lil Nas X featuring American rapper Jack Harlow. It was released on July 23, 2021, through Columbia Records. The song features co-production by rapper Kanye West and production duo Take a Daytrip. It serves as a follow up to Lil Nas X's previous singles, "Montero (Call Me by Your Name)" and "Sun Goes Down", all of which are expected to be featured on his upcoming debut album Montero. It has been described as a pop-influenced rap anthem.

Taking place within the fictitious Montero State Prison, the music video for "Industry Baby" continues after the teaser video wherein Lil Nas X is sentenced to five years in prison for being gay.The video pays homage to the 1994 film The Shawshank Redemption.

Lil' Nas X gets sentenced to five years in prison in the video for "Industry Baby." But the music sensation can transform even the slammer into a banger, and he and the other hotties he's locked up with strip down to their pink jail jumpsuits and dance nude in a shower room with pink-tiled poles. You already know how much you enjoy it.

On Twitter, Lil Nas X, 22, sent a message to "14-year-old Montero," using his given name, Montero Lamar Hill, to celebrate the premiere of his video.

The letter starts, “I created a song for us.” “I know it seems like it's all downhill from here at times. I know you've felt like an outsider among your classmates because of your sexuality.I understand how it feels to go from having the biggest hit in the world to being cooped up in your flat. And I know you're going to burst out laughing if you hear the phrase "one hit wonder" one more time. But I'm counting on you to keep going. I want you to understand that you have the ability to be the person you needed as a child.I need you to quit wallowing in self-pity. I also want you to remember that you are the only one who needs to believe in yourself.”

There's more to Lil Nas X's video than meets the eye, and you can bet your eye will see enough of him. The Bail Project, a nationwide non-profit organisation that pays bail for people in jail, is the beneficiary of the YouTube video.

According to the Commonwealth Fund, over half a million people, or three-quarters of those in prison, have never been convicted of a crime. Ninety percent of them – the poorest Americans with the fewest means — remain behind bars because they cannot afford bail.

Lil Nas X addressed the problem in a separate post.

He remarked, "Music is the way I struggle for liberty." “However, genuine liberty necessitates a shift in the criminal justice system, beginning with monetary bail. I'm familiar with the anguish that jail causes a family, and I'm also aware of the disproportionate impact of cash bail on African-Americans. There are other tales that urge us to act, and I encourage you to join me in addressing this critical civil rights issue.
