INTRODUCING SAMBO-The Artist Behind The Brand

Sambo, also known as Chikki Kush, is originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, now hailing in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Inspired by life in the trenches and experiences from living in two major cities in Louisiana, Sambo has found a sound full of emotion, culture, and passion. He uses music as a way to escape and release emotions. He describes music as therapeutic and a way to connect with others. You can describe Sambo’s sound as grimy, pain filled, also lyrical. Sambo grew up and was influenced by a variety of down South legends/musicians, such as The Hot Boys, Soulja Slim, Lil Boosie, UGK, Three 6 Mafia, etc. Sambo's passion for music comes from industry tier artists also local artists where he resides/ from. He has been creating for 4 years. Although he doesn't have a favorite artist he says everyone he listens to is fire and they create relatable music to his life. Sambo connects to different audiences by feeding his fans and followers content, interacting with all of them , and promoting other artists in his city. The world watches as his music continues to expand all across the globe. It’s a great thing to see happening. He intends for others to learn from his music. He specifies he want others to listen to his music and be able to know what their next move would be or turning nothing into something with the power of the brain. With hard work and dedication he strives to be one of your top go-to artists. Don't hesitate to tune in, you'll never know what image may be painted next. In the mean time. INTRODUCING THE BRAND

When I began thinking about a brand, something that would embody me. Who am I? I come from a family that is big on loyalty. I had a very rough childhood. Things I will never be able to speak on or about. I represent the 9th Ward. A tough neighborhood in the city of New Orleans, Louisiana , a lot of people from there never made it out, never made it too far, or let alone ever became successful.

THE BRAND

Cats are my favorite animal, they are very quiet, barely make any noise. The way I move in my life reminds me of cat activities, because I am very protective and observant, also, light footed. Many say cats have Nine Lives.

The number 9 represents completion. It is the last single digit number before a double digit number. Some say, it symbolically represents a combo of wisdom and experience, and buzzes with the energy of both endings and new beginnings. That being said, accepting and lining up with the cyclical nature of life is a big theme for anyone. Means learning to surrender to something’s inevitable end and seizing opportunities for new beginnings. If you’re a life path 9, practice viewing endings as a chance to better align with your soul’s higher purpose through something new.

I wanted to give the world something different to look at as far as design it is concerned. Something that would not represent a woman or man. Anyone could wear this brand. I could see my design on runways one day only because it's not just limited to one thing. This is a very versatile brand. It is unapologetically bold. In your face and hard to miss.
