Iambluemoon is a rising R&B songbird who is making waves in 2020 with his trending new hit single " Feelings ". The was song was originally released on all global streaming platforms on January,24th, 2020 distributed by 2020 Funky Productions / Empire records and has since garnered national attention by both industry insiders and fans alike. With so many artist whose sounds are comparable to say the least its quite the refresher to hear a new energy emerge . A mixture of hip- hop and R&B "Blue" has merged two genres into one eclectic sound , allowing him to stand out on his own originality with very few comparisons. Currently sitting at 50k streams and counting , this single appears to be on the verge of a major push.

-BEFORE THE MUSIC

IAMBLUEMOON , was born Jordan Nicholas Young as the youngest of five children in Philadelphia, Pa . It seems from birth he was always destined to be a vocal musician who inspires the masses through his message of love ,pain, and overcoming adversity. At the tender age of two his father passed away due to an " apparent "drug overdose" which led his mother to raise him and his brothers as a single parent until she remarried to his stepfather later in life . His mother and grandmother were naturally soulful singers at their local church in New Jersey so on any given week " Moon" would sit through two or three choir rehearsals which ultimately formed his musical mind at a young age. On the business aspect " Blue's " grandfather worked security for " Soul legend " Patti La Belle for over 10 years . Over family dinner conversations he would learn to love hearing stories of the adventures his grandfather encountered working security during tour life and always dreamed of his chance to take the stage. " One time my grandfather had told me a hilarious story of him accidentally handling " Snoop Dog " during Grammy weekend, my grandfather being a Earth, wind and fire guy was not aware of who " Uncle Snoop" was as he approached the Queen of Philadelphia soul which led him to do his job duties and keep snoop at bay, after noticing who had in his grips I'm sure he had quite the laugh inside"- blue. Around the age of 9 with the emergence of child hood rap stars such as BOW-WOW and LIL' ROMEO he found inspiration, and wrote his first song , which was initially intended to be a diss song aimed at BOW-WOW in lieu of his support for Romeo during their public feud in the early 2000s. This moment started a passionate secret affair that " blue " would grow into pages and pages of lyrical expression which over time grew into a catalog of organic music, poems, and unfiltered thoughts . During his pre - teenage years his mother decided to move him and his brothers to Florida, where they lived in the small town of Palatka , Florida for two years prior to permanently relocating to Jacksonville Florida for a better opportunity outside of the generational traps they faced in Philadelphia. Due to him being a well balanced athlete his is where he would spend the remainder of his child hood and ultimately the start of his music recording journey .

During his time in Jacksonville he met a few friends who were already making music and had a large following known as SELF MADE ENT. One of the groups lead artist by the name of T-wiz took " blue " who went by the persona ( yung TAZ ) at the time under his ropes and showed him how to move around the Jacksonville music scene as one of their own. On days " blue " didn't have practices to attend he would spend most his time , learning from T-wiz and gaining as much knowledge he could and also received honest valuable feedback on his craft. Word would get around of the kid who could freestyle for hours on end without a break, to say the least his freestyle sessions gained him respect and the attention of the local music circuit . This would not only impress T-wiz and self made but other local artist began to show " blue " his respect and reach out as an equal, and as a new creative they would all soon get to know . As he became more involved with learning how to perfect his art of writing he eventually who would be invited to the studio where he would record his first of many songs, from the first song he recorded you could hear the passion and determination to be not just good but greatness was in him. Blue always had a vision for himself to be successful and take the stage, it would take years to develop his sound but he became very valuable due to his ear for music, he found himself useful by providing honest feedback on his friends songs , helped to develop hooks and eventually this would turn into him starting the ground work for completing his own catalog of music . Initially working as solely a freelance songwriter Moon begin to gain recognition from his peers as a top writer in his local area.

-THE PROCESS

In 2017 " Iambluemoon" released his single "Faith" produced by James Ray which was his first full scale R&B single. The 2017 release led to " Blue " being selected as ; Hip-Hop" weekly's Up and Coming artist for Sxsw in Austin ,Texas , where he touched multiple stages and received rave reviews and attention for his charisma and song performance. This moment led " Blue " to realize his calling was in making love music and music that people can relate to , " I've never seen people react my music like that " stated "Blue". This led to him changing his whole persona as an artist and approach to the music side of the business much differently. He saw he had something to offer and wanted to maximize his full potential which consumed him with the passion to be the best artist he could be . Over the next two years " Blue" would encounter the struggles of life including , relationship issues, legal troubles and financial hardships. If you asked him I'm sure he would say these moments defined him and made him the well rounded artist he is today , and provided material he can use to share his experiences in hopes he can help others heal who lived through a period of depression. As we stated earlier in the article, Iambluemoon is charting with his new single " Feelings" with its catchy words and harmonic delivery.
