Megan Thee Stallion recently released her new album titled 'Good News' and let me tell you girl, there are songs we can ALL twerk to. Megan managed to end her haters with the 17 different and unique tracks, whilst keeping it sexy! Here are my thoughts on each track!

Lyrics: 'Imagine n***** lyin' 'bout shootin' a real b****?'

Shots Fired is the strong introduction and first track to 'Good News' where Megan addresses being a victim of gun violence without naming the perpetrator - 5'4 Tiny Lamez- oops sorry Tory Lanez. The track cleverly samples rap G.O.A.T 'Biggie's song 'Who Shot Ya?' Shots Fired kicks off with a strong beat in just the first 5 seconds matched with Megan's consistent lyrical flow which gives the listener an idea that an emotional story is about to be told. 2020 has been a successful yet chaotic year for Megan but she continues to encourage black women specifically to use their voices especially when it comes to violence or injustice.

Lyrics: ' You shot a 5'10" b**** with a .22

Circles is the 2nd track that has an addictive instrumental throughout. Megan samples singer Jazmine Sullivan's song 'Holdin You Down' whilst rapping about being done wrong by inconsistent men. This is definitely one of my favorites and Megan's confident tone in circles certainly displays what it truly means to be a 'Hot Girl'! Ah!

Lyrics: 'I ain't goin' back and forth with these lil' boys'

DaBaby and Megan pictured at the 2020 MTV VMAs together

CryBaby is the 3rd and in my opinion one of the weakest tracks off of the album. Dababy brought nothing to the song and had his same flow throughout but luckily Hot Girl Meg's bars came to the rescue! I started off doing a confused twerk but when i heard Megan come in, I absorbed all of her confidence! 1.46 is my favourite part- teach him how to do it Meg!

Lyrics: 'Keep me a freak, who the flavor of the week?'

Megan and the City Girls (right) pictured above

Do It On The Tip tells the theme of the song just from the title! The beat is steady and matches the confident tone of the song. Megan and the City Girls SNAPPED on this one! This track was one that allowed Hotties all around the world to unleash their inner freak!

Lyrics: 'I think I'm pregnant, but I don't see no belly'

Sugar Baby is the 5th track and another bad b**** anthem for all the hotties! The title is self- explanatory to the theme of the song and includes Megan rapping about all the things a boy must do to become the Hot Boy to her Hot Girl! This beat is so unique and sounds like it could be for a video game yet Meg raps over the beat so effortlessly!

Lyrics: 'Invest in this p***y, boy, support Black business

Lil Durk (left) pictured with Hot Girl Meg

Movie is the 6th and another banger song that deals with sexual themes! The beat drops hard from the start and Lil Durk was a good feature to match Megan's assertive and sexy energy! This is definitely another track that will have all the hotties throwing it back!

Lyrics: 'My p***y tight, but I might let him add some stretch to it' ( Okay Meg, i see you!

The 3 Queens: SZA (left) Meg (centre) + Normani (right)

Freaky Girls is the 7th track and one of my absolute FAVOURITES!! The instrumental is so smooth and SZA's voice compliments Meg's bars! This sexy R&B banger samples Adina Howard's song 'Freak Like Me'. SZA and Meg SNAPPED on this one! Definitely worth getting whiplash over!

Lyrics: 'Lil' people make lil' people, stallions breed prize babies'

Body is the 8th track which took me by surprise! I linked the video above for you to watch. The intro should definitely be played on mute around children and in public but feel free to twerk to the rest of the song! The music video included surprise cameos from celebs like Jordyn Woods, Taraji P. Henson, Blac Chyna and more. I love the body positivity recognition especially for the taller, curvier girls! The chorus gets quite repetitive and annoying but Meg's bars keep it sexy throughout.

Lyrics: 'All them b****** scary cats, I call 'em Carole Baskins, ah!'

Hot Girl Meg looking flawless as usual!

What's New is the 9th track where Megan ended all of her haters with her vicious flow! The beat is consistent and catchy! The whistles on the chorus compliment Meg's strong lyrics. This track is sure to turn all haters into hotties and have them waving their middle fingers in the air!

Lyrics: ' Tell the haters f*** you' (Period Meg!)

Houston Hottie Meg reporting for duty!

Work That is the 10th track that is sure to get stuck into your head! It samples Juvenile's hit song 'Rodeo'. Megan's bars exude yet again an empowering and confident tone when dealing with her man! The beat is smooth and matches the overall sexy vibe of the song! Hotties, listen with caution and don't get too distracted when your riding;)

Lyrics: 'Ride it like a rodeooooo'

Meg ( left) + Popcaan (top right) & YG (bottom right)

Intercourse is the 11th track and one of the most steamy! The title alone displays the vibe of the song! The song has a reggae style beat and a sexual tone. Popcaan's voice alone was making me whine the hips I don't even have! Meg's bars were hard as usual and the features overall went well together!

Lyrics: 'Take me where the temperature is hotter than a hottie'

Hot Girl Meg (left) + Big Sean (top right) & 2 Chainz (bottom right)

Go Crazy is a strong 11th track to the album. Meg's brilliant bars were matched by Big Sean's bars and 2 Chainz... put effort. Meg really snapped on this track and had me doing a soft twerk to the lyrics! Another banger!

Lyrics: ' F*** a Birkin, give you a business, boss you up, now you can buy ten of these'

Pop Star Meg?

Don't Rock Me To Sleep is the 13th track where Hot Girl Meg transforms into Pop Star Meg! The beat is very chill and I love that Megan tried something different with this track after facing criticism from people that said her flow was too basic. This is definitely more of a track you would play in a shopping center or a child's birthday party but it's unique none the less!

Lyrics: 'I'm a big girl, so I won't cry'

Brush off them haters like they flies Meg!

Outside is the 14th and last unheard track off of the album. Meg's bars flow so smoothly with the chill beat, it's an addictive listen! Megan keeps it real and clarifies the amount of power she posses when it comes to relationships. Definitely another one of my faves and it showcases Meg's talents further. Hotties don't be deceived by the title though! Stay inside, social distance and wear your mask! Hotties put their health first!

Lyrics: ' I don't need the streets, cuz b**** i am the streets.'

Queen B and Hot Girl Meg! Can you say ICONIC!!

The 15th track also noted as the song of the YEAR is the Savage Remix by Queen B and Hot Girl Meg themselves! The beat goes SO HARD and Beyoncé just added so much more flavour and substance to the song! This song is not only a tiktok anthem but a twerk playlist MUST-HAVE! Hotties, try not to break your back twerking to it though!

Lyrics: ' If you don't jump to put jeans, on baby you don't feel my pain'

Hot Girl In The Hood Meg

Girls In The Hood is the 16th track which samples hip-hop classic 'Boyz N The Hood' by the late Eazy E. This sample received a lot of backlash from fans of Eazy E and his own daughter but as Megan has already proved- she doesn't care about the haters and keeps it respectful. Megan's bars go hard yet again further showcasing her lyrical talent while keeping a boss attitude.

Lyrics: 'I don't text quick 'cause I ain't thirsty'

Edward Scissorhands vibes

Now for the 17th and sexually charged track - we have Don't Stop! Megan really expanded her versatility with this music video and Young Thug was a good feature to match Meg's energy! The beat is playful and fun to match the music video's vibe. This song definitely had me twerking and popping my cat!

Lyrics: 'Don't stop pop that cat'

Megan's debut album 'Good News' proved to be worth the wait with every original and different track. Megan showcased her lyrical talent throughout, matched with her consistent confident tone. Every feature complimented each track (apart from the Dababy yikes). This album definitely secures Hot Girl Meg as a talented, authentic and powerful rapper.

I will definitely be streaming this album for a very long time so let's hope I don't break my back too much! ;)
