Todd Barrow is making a name for himself as a country artist to watch. The Texas singer-songwriter has racked up more than a few accolades, from a PRSA Award of Excellence, an Akademia Award for Best Country Album, and an artist spotlight in Alternative Roots Magazine, American Pride Magazine and AVA Radio. He has appeared on television shows including Good Morning Texas with Jerry Matheny and Texas Music Café on PBS. He’s even shared the stage and studio with some of country music’s heaviest hitters, from CMA musicians in Miranda Lambert’s band to Fort Worth Producer of the Year Bart Rose. Life experiences and turning them into songs
Tell us about your sound and what sets you apart?
A blend of traditional country and modern country. Right on the line.
Is there a hidden meaning in any of your music?
Not really I'm very transparent with my music.
What is the best song you ever released and why?
Best song by far is my new release, Girl Like You! True to my roots and everyone can relate to the tune!

What is your favorite song(s) to perform? Or, if not performing, what song do fans seem to favor?
My favorite song to perform is Guadalupe River. Our famous river in Texas. Fans love this one......

Other than fame & fortune, is there something you hope to achieve through music?
Simply helping others achieve there dreams. At least inspire to go after them!
Would you like to travel to other countries to perform your music? If so, what would be your first stop?
Other countries to perform first stop is UK then the rest of Europe
Tell about a magical moment or positive experience that has happened during your music career.
Magical was performing with John Schneider/Tom Wopat (Dukes of Hazard) at John Schneider studios in Louisiana.
What music do you listen to ‘for fun’?
Jazz & Rock N Roll
Who inspires you musically?
Hank Williams, Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings
If one artist were to perform at your party, who would get the call?
Joe Nichols or Pat Green
What advice would you have for someone wanting to follow in your footsteps?
My advice to those pursuing a career in the music business. Prepare to work hard 24/7. Be yourself and don't give up.
How do you feel the Internet has impacted sharing your music?
I love the internet. You have a ton of tools and resources to grow your music business.
