Ahhh, at last, it is the spooky scary season filled with costumes, candy, and lots of fright. But fear not, the Halloween vibes wouldn’t be what it is without music that just hits the nail right on the coffin! So here’s my wonderful playlist that’s sure to put you in the mood no matter what!

First up on the list is sure to bring you into the right mood.

This remix of, Spooky Scary Skeletons, (created by Disney and Andrew Gold in 1929) is the perfect start that brings a mixture of party vibes that resonates with the spooky scary vibes. What's better than dancing century-old skeletons ready to bring the fun to the party?

This song, bury a friend by Billie Eilish, is a song that has you on your toes the entire time waiting and wondering what's going to happen next. Even though I'm not the biggest fan of her-goddamn that young lady is talented and she definitely brings the creeps, chills, and scary factor when you think of spooky things.

Next on our list.

This song, Unhealthy Obsession by The Blake Robinson Synthetic Orchestra, is well self-explanatory! No, we do not condone this behavior but this synthetic orchestra is a perfect song that would give anyone chills if they found some creeper had some sort of obsession over them. Your best bet is to lock your doors, and hope they aren't hiding out in your house!

Ooooh, the next songs are childhood favorites of mine!

This is Halloween, from The Nightmare Before Christmas, is a classic that is sure to get you into the Halloween spirit and remind you of all the things that frightened you as a child but you got over it as you got older...hopefully. The pumpkin King Jack Skeleton and his people always deliver when it comes to Halloween and why should that stop at their scares?

However, the Marilyn Manson cover version down below is sure to bring that extra scare factor. It'll make you think twice about looking over your shoulder!

Since we're already on an A Nightmare Before Christmas Binge, it wouldn't be fair to exclude the one creature that scared children to their core and the Oogie Boogie Song fits the criteria for spooky with the Boogie Man serenading and insulting Santa Claus at the same time!

Our next song, HUSHH by AViVA, is a unique song that truly draws you in with its deeper undertones of mystery and secrets that irk you to no end. But who is our creative artist referring to? Maybe, that's just for you to figure out!

Up next is sure to rock your baby to sleep! That's if... you and your little one are big fans of lullabies.

This song, Lullaby of Woe by Ashley Serena, is a beautiful peaceful, and creepy masterpiece that cradles you in the whispers of a dark fantasy world that is sure to make you think twice about turning off the lights before you head to bed!

Speaking of lullabies what's better than having a song that is sure to make you hold your child closer at night?

You might recognize this song, Come Little Children cover song by Erutan, from the popular Halloween movie Hocus Pocus that was composed by James Horner, written by Brock Walsh, and sung by Sarah Sanderson! This song is sure to hypnotize the minds of your little ones and whisk them away to another realm! Or just make them fall asleep all safe and sound in your arms. Just don't stray too far from them!

Our next song Monster by Yoasobi is from a very good anime called Beastars!

This Japanese song is sure to make you ponder about the many wonders of life and wonder if you have the power or strong will to fight for and protect the one you love and your own beliefs while trying to repress your true instincts! Some might call you a monster but, hey, is anyone truly as innocent as they claim to be? You should most definitely check out the anime too, you certainly won't be disappointed.

This next song is sure to make you squirm in delight all while making you rock out to a great song.

Even though, Feed My Frankenstein by Alice Cooper is not for the faint heart and is intended for mature older audiences who sure could relate to its very *ahem* themes. The kids don't need to know about all this anyway!

Moving on! The next song is sure to make you want to grab your closest vampire friend and dance away in the moonlight with them.

If I Was Your Vampire by Marilyn Manson, has its dark undertone that just seems to awake something dark and primal in all of us! Is there seriously anything else to say?!

This next upbeat song dedicated to the Five Night's at Freddy's (FNAF) game franchise is a great song that's sure to inspire some worrisome thoughts and think twice about bringing your little ones to any pizzeria with animatronics.

Join Us For A Bite by JT Music is the perfect song that shows that you could be upbeat and creepy at the same time. If you're an FNAF fan and you know the lore behind its game franchise and Sister Location then you understand why this makes the list for great Halloween vibes that you could sing on the top of your lungs and feel no regret afterward! Just be sure to close your doors, and make sure that no one is watching you!

Next is an awesome song!

First of all who doesn't love the band Imagine Dragons? Natural, is an amazing well-written song that pokes and prods at the instincts of everyday people when faced with an unpredictable situation of danger, and how they act when their lives and their means of survival are on the line! They more or less become heartless monsters. Well, that's how I interpret it anyway, what do you think?

This next song is sure to lead you into a whimsical treat of smooth jazz.

I Put A Spell On You by Nina Simone is a magnificent jazz masterpiece that is based on the original artist 'Screaming' Jay Hawkins! The emphasis of the song is the epitome of a woman's scorn filled with rage, anger, and someone hellbent on getting her revenge on the person who wronged her. You better watch out for sure!

Last but not least is a song that is sure to scare you out of your skin. It is a song that is sure to bring your nightmares to life and frighten you to your core. Don't say I didn't warn you...

Aha! The Monster Smash by Bobby Pickett is an old-time favorite that everyone loves and that just makes you want to dance. If this doesn't want to make you want to jam out with a bunch of creepy monsters at a party then what are you doing?

Now that concludes the very awesome spooky scary vibes playlist for the Halloween season! But before I go here are some honorable mentions, and extra songs for the guests who haven't quite gotten enough.

A wonderful Halloween classic, Thriller by the King of Pop himself Micheal Jackson!

Dance in the Dark by Au/Ra is a great vibe to embrace your fears and make it your own true art!

Blood Red Summer by Coheed and Cambria is an awesome song that is sure to make you think twice about your friends turning into blood-thirsty vampires that later come back to hunt you down.

Breaking Benjamin never fails to deliver great songs and for this season, Dance With The Devil is perfect!

This playlist wouldn't be complete if you didn't have this song included! If you were one of those few people who enjoyed and loved Coraline when you were younger then you know that this eerie ending song is even more creepier when you find out the lyrics are complete gibberish and no matter how much you try to decipher the lyrics, your brain is still trying to make sense of words that just aren't there!

Now, this killer song is a like fever dream from my childhood! The movie Scary Godmother the Halloween Dance, is the main reason I just love Halloween (besides the gore, scares, candy, costumes) and got hooked on the scary holiday.

Finally, if this playlist didn't put you in the mood then all I have to say to you is that there is something very wrong and that you need to listen to these songs again. Sit back, relax, and no need to worry. There is no one out there watching or vibing to the music with you. Trust me :) I hope you have a very scary spooky Halloween!

And please...don't look behind you.
