American pop-rock band the Raspberries formed in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1970. In both the US and the UK, the Raspberries helped pioneer the power pop music style that took off after the group disbanded. The boys in the band were Eric Carmen (vocals, guitars, bass, and piano); Wally Bryson (guitars); Dave Smalley (guitars and bass); and Jim Bonfanti (drums). The group disbanded in 1975 after a five-year run, and Eric Carmen proceeded to a successful career as a soloist. With each song the band is fondly remembered for their own unique sound that they provided.

“Come Around and See Me” is a song that was released on the band’s first album, Raspberries. The song was written by Wally Bryson, who also performed the lead vocals.

“I Don’t Know What I Want” is a song that was influenced by the English rock band the Who. It is featured on the band’s final album, Starting Over.

"I Wanna Be with You" is a song that came out in 1972 and was the first single from their second album Fresh. It was written by Eric Carmen, who also sang the lead vocals. The song became their second greatest US hit. "I Wanna Be with You" was performed on “The Midnight Special” television program (season 1, episode 15) on May 4, 1973. It  was included on the Raspberries' Pop Art Live CD set from their reunion concert recording, November 26, 2004, at the House of Blues in Cleveland, Ohio.
