Recording artist Exitfame is preparing to release his highly anticipated new album, Permanent Stains, a project that blends personal storytelling, emotional vulnerability and high-level production into what may be his most impactful work to date.

Executive produced by recording artist Ellisar and Klokwrk, Permanent Stains was recorded at Massachusetts-based Phoenix Down Recording Studios. “The meaning behind Permanent Stains is about the traumas we hold that are never truly overcome or forgotten,” Exitfame said.

One of the most emotional aspects of the project is its album artwork. The cover features the house where Exitfame’s younger brother passed away at the age of one when Exitfame himself was only five years old.

“That was my first experience with pain,” Exitfame said.

That tragedy became one of the foundational experiences that helped shape both the artist and the themes explored throughout the album.

Permanent Stains also benefits from contributions from notable producers Boi Yanel and Skeyez Beats, whose production work helps elevate the album’s sonic landscape while complementing Exitfame’s emotionally driven lyrics.
