Drake Hides ‘Iceman’ Release Date In Huge Toronto Ice Structure
Drake has ramped up his Iceman rollout in spectacular fashion by hiding the album’s release date in a huge ice structure in Toronto.

Ice has taken on a different dimension since Immigration Customs Enforcement has become a menace in the United States. Only a native Canadian can channel the idea of literal ice and most likely references to George Gervin, Drizzy may be eager to release ICEMAN.
In between anticipation for the latest effort and the actual release date, Drake will no doubt continue to promote in even more curious ways.
His ability to draw attention to himself, he is showing signs that he was damaged but not destroyed by the battle he engaged in with Kendrick Lamar. From controlled explosions to the stack of blocks of ice, Drake is calculating his comeback.

With all the charm of a gentleman and a person who is equally hated and respected, Champagne Papi is still the number one rapper in the game right now. There’s not even a debate. Lamar might have put Drake in a strangle hold, but he tucked and recovered.
What remains to be seen is if his bars are hard enough to bring him out of his funk. The perception is greater than the reality in a lot of people’s minds. But the facts have to state for themselves. It is a fact that Drake waited over a year to start rolling out the items related to ICEMAN. He is focused on the situation of moving on from the feud and funneling and channeling his talents into this new project.
Of all the ways that Drake can be clowned, you can’t deny his talent. Now, everyone will run and say he doesn’t write his own rhymes. Who cares? He performs the words well. He knows how to flow over a production. That’s a plus right there. Either to his detriment or benefit, Lamar sometimes goes off beat to great, dazzling effect and also jarring effect as well.
But this ice stunt is creative and sets a precedent for future rappers to up step their games in terms of letting people know about their album releases.
As he said, “Drizzy’s got the money.” He falls somewhere between $200 million and $400 million dollars. He never has to pick up a microphone ever again. But like I’ve said, he’s the LeBron James of hip hop. He has the capacity for greatness but will never be the greatest.
If all of this hoopla leads to a strong album, then let’s keep doing this. But if it’s trash, there’s no excuse for bad art. It’s apparent that Drake works smartly with his various albums. This whole kerfuffle with Kung Fu Kenny might have just been a giant publicity stunt that Drake let happen.
The ice is melting like the patience fanatics and supporters alike have been experiencing with the Canadian rapper. From some reports, Drake is rapping at a level that he’s never been able to achieve since Take Care.
From the perspective of someone who has followed Drake’s career since So Far Gone, I’ve been able to see his career blossom. Though he’s hit some low notes, overall his batting average is above .300. With a penchant for self-awareness and bravado all mixed up, he’s been able to craft a career that is extensive and comprehensive.
What facilitates his time in the rap game is his shrewd business operations and the ability to involve Caribbean rhythms, southern trap, funk, Afro beat. While he has incorporated all of these styles and championed each sound, he has elevated his position as a veteran now in the game for close to twenty years now.
His powers might now be in ice, but we shall see if ICEMAN is fire.
