“Elusive Butterfly” is a popular song that was written by American folk music singer and lyricist Bob Lind. The song came out as a single in 1965 and was on both the Billboard Hot 100 and the Adult Contemporary charts. Due to the song becoming a regional hit on Florida radio stations it was reissued in 1966 and was in the Top Ten on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song is on Lind’s debut album and is titled “Don’t Be Concerned” according to the opening lyric of the chorus of “Elusive Butterfly.”

“Butterfly” is a pop song that was written and recorded by the French singer and songwriter, Danyel Gerard in the late 1960s. It became a hit in French. An English language version was written in the early 1970s and was recorded again in the US. Other versions in German, Spanish, and Italian were added in 1971 making this an international hit. It has charted on the Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Singles charts. 

“The Butterfly” is a song by the Australian rock band Little River Band. The band has had ten singles in the Top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. This song is on their second album After Hours from 1976 and was released in the US in 1980. 

“Catch Another Butterfly” is a song that was written by country music singer, songwriter, and record producer Michael Robert Wiliams for American country music singer and songwriter John Denver in 1969. The song is on his album Rhymes & Reasons.



“Love Is Like a Butterfly” is a song that was written and recorded by American country music artist Dolly Parton. It came out in 1974 and was the first single from her album of the same name. It became Parton’s fourth number one single on the country chart and is considered to be her signature song. It was used as the theme song for her 1976 syndicated music series “Dolly!”

“Joanie’s Butterfly” was written by Steven Tyler, Jimmy Crespo, and Jack Douglas and recorded by the American hard rock band Aerosmith. It is on their seventh album Rock in a Hard Place. 

“Butterfly Bleu” was written by Mike Pinera and recorded by the American rock band Iron Butterfly in 1970. The song is on their fourth album Metamorphosis. This album is noted for having one of the earliest uses of the talk box on a rock album and was used by Pinera on this song.

“Butterfly Kisses” is a song that was written by American contemporary Christian singer and songwriter Bob Carlisle and American Christian rock musician Randy Thomas. It is on Carlisle’s third album Butterfly Kisses (Shades of Grace). The song was written for Carlisle’s daughter Brooke’s 16th birthday, The last track on the album is a country remix of this song, with instruments like the Pedal Steel Guitar and fiddle included. The song went to number one on the Adult Contemporary chart and received a Dove Award for Song of the Year and a Grammy for Best Country Song. 

“Butterfly Effect” is a song that was written by American rapper and singer Travis Scott with Canadian producers Murda Beatz and Felix Leone. The song came out in 2017 and is the lead single on Scott’s third album Astroworld. The song was charted on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and the single was certified quadruple Platinum by the RIAA. Scott performed the song for the first time in St. Louis, Missouri. He also performed this song at the MTV Video Music Awards and at the MTV Europe Music Awards.
