Chris Brown & Usher Launch Countdown For Joint Tour: What Does It Mean?
Chris Brown and Usher announced their joint tour, last week, but they have yet to confirm any further details.

With Usher Raymond and Chris Brown preparing to tour, there will probably not be a pair of dry panties at any of the concerts. Two of the biggest names in the biz will more than likely set a precedent for representing real R&B music.
Through all of their setbacks and travails, they’ve found space to create a union that will be passed down through the ages. There remain scarce details surrounding the actual tour dates and other data but just given the track record of both of these artists, they ought to be able to foster a huge gathering at each event, yet to be scheduled.
And I got all of this from a hip hop site. That’s the synergy that exists with hip hop and R&B. This wasn’t always the case. In the burgeoning stages of rap, singers resented the idea of having rappers appear on their songs. Of course there existed rap legends like Kurtis Blow who rap/sang his lyrics and LL Cool J sort of sang on “I Need Love.” Since then, however, there have been untold collaborations that have featured crooners and rhymespitters.
But with both talents being the leads of an expected humongous tour, there will most likely be MCs to be added to the lineup. Because the default, really. Rappers usually listen to metal or soul music from the 1970’s. Hardly do they admit to actually listening to rap music.

Raymond and Brown teamed up to permit people who love both genres to engage in the music. What this tour means is that these heavyweights are going to grace audiences with their excellent stylings.
For male hip hop heads to appreciate the two acts that could steal their girl at a moment’s notice, that takes a great amount of fortitude. They have to be secure enough in their own game. As pointed out in The Boondocks episode where Sarah, Tom Dubois’ wife, fauns over Usher. Through an animated space, the idea remains clear: Usher is a magnetic force who attracts all kinds of women.
What can be said about Brown? Other than the obvious? It’s that he can never escape from the history books. His violent encounter with singer/entrepreneur Rihanna will always be on the minds of anyone who considers his stellar catalogue. Even with an album featuring 45 tracks, (Heartbreak on a Full Moon) audiences seem to have forgiven without necessarily forgetting about the whole incident. Brown has since bounced back like a Juvenile song. The occurrence just registers in the mind and you just consider it to be something to hold on to in your collection of memories but to not dwell on too much.
Usher has been able to remain relatively unscathed in domestic violence cases or anything of the sort. He’s used his fame to engender a whole persona that is just summed with a mononym.
But with him counting Brown as a friend in a business that is often unfriendly amongst performers, they elevate each other and bring the art and commerce levels to a higher plane. There’s so much power that these two men exert in the realm they occupy. As two of the most lauded names in the history of R&B, they share a mutual respect and affinity towards each other that doesn’t seem forced or contrived.
When they complete this tour, they will have racked up millions of dollars and probably some of the biggest road performances in history. Followers, subscribers, and influencers are already opining on their intentions to attend the concerts. Their fervor is so definite and sincere because they know that both men have produced catalogues that remain bulletproof.

Usher and C. Breezy might just take the depressing and chaotic nature of the current culture and flip it. Their powerful vocals and incredible dance moves ought to provide a way for audiences (primarily women) to take a much needed reprieve from all the darkness.
The brightness of their talent should prove to be a satisfying and rewarding experience for single folk and couples alike. Everyone who has the sense of hearing ought to be able to relish the songs that might be from their youths, their adulthood, or both. The might these artists wield is so evident that virtually everyone will enjoy the show with a thorough sense of what it means to know the power of music. Ladies, bring a towel.
