And the purse is ugly

Cardi B Being Delusional

It's time for our most beloved reality tv show: The Battle of Who is More Delusional Between the Celebrities. If it's not Kim Kardashian, it is the other Libra who is out of touch with reality, our favorite New Yorker: Cardi B. I wonder how much money she pays to stay in her delusional, out of touch, reality that she now lives in since she made it big. Both these Libras need a personal cultural advisor, hire me. You can buy the purse, just don't advertise it when there is a pan demic and millions of Americans are losing their homes. Boom, that wasn't hard, now cut my check.

I am convinced that to be an American celebrity nowadays, whether they grew up poor or not, you have to sign a contract that forces you to be problematic, controversial, and out of touch with what the average American is facing. You lost your house? Here's my new mansion on the water. You work overtime and can't afford your rent? Here's a day in my life where I get my nails done, eat organic catered food, and watch my nannies watch my kids play in our vineyard. What did Kim K do when there was a pandemic that made millions of Americans lose their jobs and homes? Go to a private island with 30 of her closest friends and celebrate. What is Cardi B doing during this time of people having 2-3 entry-level jobs to pay their mortgages and dealing with their family members of a virus that there is no known cure for? Debating on spending $88k on...an...ugly...purse. Babe, just buy it don't post it. smh. First rule of money is that you don't talk about it dummy. You would think a New Yorker would know the rich code. Hire me, girl. I don't care what you spend your millions on as long as you don't dangle it in front of poor or average Americans.

I saw the picture of the bag the other day and it's a Birkin, no surprise there. Maybe celebrities are told by their publicists or managers or their puppet masters that the average American wants to see how the rich are living so they can fantasize about the rich life. Here's the thing, it's not the 2000's anymore; we're not obsessing over Paris Hilton and the latest Juicy Couture velour jacket she's wearing anymore. This is a pandemic where people are being fired, the threat of a recession is on our minds, inflation and food shortages are being discussed, and people do not know where their next paycheck will come from. Read the room.

Hide your wealth, that's all we are asking. We're happy you're rich and you're living out your dream of being a successful female rapper. It's history-making, honestly. Now do us a favor and just don't let us know when you spend mortgage money on a purse, especially if it's ugly. As a Libra it might be hard, just like your Libra sister Kim K is hard for her to not post pictures on her Instagram about her body and insane mansion, but try not to post on social media about being mega-rich in a country that is being mocked for abandoning its citizens during a global pandemic. The whole world is laughing at our government and feeling pity for our citizens because we were abandoned but you don't care. Cool do you bro. Maybe this is a weird Libra thing; being self-absorbed and obsessed with luxury.

Again, celebrities and social detachment. Celebrities and out-of-touch realities. Celebrities and delusion. My favorite couples, I'm sure they'll last a long time. The ultimate pairing, a bond that will last a lifetime.

That blood contract they all have to sign must be worth losing their human decency for.
