Building With Brotherhood: DT The Artist Levels Up With Smile Mah Records

DT The Artist Enters a New Chapter With Smile Mah Records

By Variety PressPublished 5 months ago • 2 min read

Since joining Smile Mah Records, things have continued to level up for DT The Artist both creatively and professionally.

Known for his high-energy performances, international touring experience, and independent grind through BTP Entertainment, DT has spent years building his own foundation. Now, his partnership with Smile Mah Records is adding a new layer to that journey — one rooted in teamwork, collaboration, and shared ambition.

One of the biggest moments so far came during a trip to Las Vegas, where DT connected and worked directly with label owner Half Deezy.

A Vegas Trip Turns Into a Creative Run

During the trip, DT also met fellow labelmate Sub from Raw, and the chemistry between the artists clicked immediately.

What started as a weekend trip quickly turned into a full creative session, with the team recording an entire EP together in just a few days. The energy in the studio was nonstop, fueled by late-night recording sessions, business conversations, and serious planning for future releases.

The experience became more than a work trip. It was a chance for DT to build real creative chemistry with the Smile Mah Records team.

Music, Visuals, and Momentum

While in Las Vegas, the team also linked up with Ray from West Lyfe to shoot visual content for several songs, including “Money Walk,” “Moonlight,” and “Money in the Safe.”

The visuals captured the hunger, ambition, and chemistry of the team while showcasing the luxury, movement, and fast-paced atmosphere of Las Vegas. The city became the perfect backdrop for a new chapter built around elevation, confidence, and execution.

More Than Just Music

Beyond the records and visuals, the trip represented something deeper for DT The Artist.

For years, he has built independently — touring internationally, developing artists, creating opportunities, and pushing his brand forward through BTP Entertainment. Joining Smile Mah Records brought something different into the picture: a genuine team environment.

For DT, that support system has made a major difference.

“Since joining SmileMah, it feels great to have and be part of a team,” DT shared. “It’s more than just music. There’s support, collaboration, and people pushing each other to win.”

That sense of brotherhood is becoming a major part of this next phase.

Tha Nazdaq Keeps the Music Coming

With new music, visuals, and collaborations already in motion, the partnership between DT The Artist and Smile Mah Records is only getting started.

Producer Tha Nazdaq has also been keeping DT busy with a slate of new music on the way, helping shape the sound and momentum behind his upcoming releases.

If the Vegas sessions were any indication, fans can expect a steady stream of high-energy records, polished visuals, and major moves throughout the year.

A Team Built for the Next Level

For DT The Artist, Smile Mah Records represents more than a label situation. It represents brotherhood, structure, and a shared vision for growth.

The Las Vegas trip showed what can happen when the right artists, producers, and creatives come together with purpose. From recording an EP in just a few days to shooting multiple visuals and planning future releases, DT and the Smile Mah Records team are clearly building with intention.

As the year continues, DT The Artist appears ready to keep turning momentum into movement — and with Smile Mah Records behind him, the next chapter is already in motion.
