Marrying the sounds and creating something entirely different from influences like Billy Idol and Chief-Keef. As songwriters, they could mix a melody of airy texts on heartbreak, medication and set off freestyle marathon sessions. They looked much more polished, far more than anyone their close peer attempted to do, an excellent thing for many imitators on “Sound Cloud”. Artists and producers have been perfecting their craft for years behind the mark. As a result, AREA57 has evolved into a reliable hit-maker compilation, currently one of the most significant innovative hip-hop on the scene.
Although AREA57 was released in 2015 as the first official label, its origins went far more profound. It started as Houston‘s leading production company in 2001. The group has gained its reputation for high-quality releases with artists like Mike Jones, Devin the Dude, and Lil Flip, to name a few. Producer The Tink was the guy to manage the organization’s future. He gave him a unique insight into how the industry worked, both as a rapper and a producer. He was an incredibly professional businessman who left the production board and took over the company AREA57.

1. How did you start Area57? What inspired you ?
It was started in 2001 because my production style was reminiscent of The Neptunes with a street edge. . That is what inspires the Area57 sound. Area 57 reminds people of Area 51 so the sound was futuristic .
2. What were you doing before you got in the music industry ?
I’ve always been in the music industry being from Chicago I lived a hard life.
3. What advice can you give to new artists ?
Never Stop. Don’t stop just keep going and it starts with a dream and that’s your dream and it’s hard to get anyone to understand or see your dream in the beginning . Always believe in yourself . If it’s for you, it’s for you.
4. What are your long and short term goals for your label ?
Long term is to definitely make the brand a staple in the music industry.
