Angelina Alexon, the young pop singer whose viral videos have amassed over sixty million views on social media, is out this holiday with a brand new single she wrote and produced, “Christmas Time”. The heartfelt song about love, family and spreading warmth through the season was penned when she was only 12-years-old.

“Growing up, Christmas was my favorite time of year because it brought together the two sides of my family,” Angelina reflects. “My family on my mom’s side didn’t get along with my dad’s family, but, at Christmas time, they would come together because they knew how important it was for me. I became the peacemaker.”

Twelve-year-old Angelina recorded the demo for the original version of “Christmas Time” on a cell phone. “My voice sounds the same,” she acknowledges today. “Just the general technique (of my singing was) a bit different when I was younger.” When re-recording the track earlier this year, Angelina opted to keep the vibe and style of the original but, towards the end of the song, she adds the whistle notes she has become Insta-famous for.

Angelina Alexon has gained worldwide notoriety for her viral videos that showcase her incredible vocals and ability to sing in eight languages. Similar to Mariah Carey, she has a vocal range that spans five octaves and she can even replicate Ms. Carey’s whistle notes, something very few artists can do. Angelina demonstrates her extraordinary talent in her live performances and on her recent cover of Mariah Carey’s "Emotions.”

She primarily records and performs her original music. Angelina’s latest pop release, "Bada Boom," hit the airwaves this summer. It was accompanied by a high energy music video, filmed at the famous TikTok viral diner "Frisco’s Carhop" in Los Angeles. The young singer directed, produced, and edited the video. She describes herself as a “self-contained independent artist that enjoys doing everything herself”.

Her plans for 2024 include updating her line of merchandise for fans and releasing new music in more countries and collaborating with other artists on projects.

Last week, she was in Washington DC to perform the 27th annual Global Goddess Artemis Awards Ceremony at the US Capitol. She sang the national anthem of the United States and her music including “Christmas Time.”

She was offered the opportunity to perform the US Capitol three months ago, after a performance at the Zappeion Megaron Theatre in Greece. The audience included several members of the U.S. Congress, including Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney who called Angelina’s rendition of the “The Star-Spangled Banner” the best she had ever heard.

“It was a dream come true,” Angelina explains of being invited to perform the DC ceremony. “That little 12-year-old girl, writing songs of friendship, family and fun times, dreamed of pursuing a music career in the USA.”

Angelina Alexon performed last week at the US Capitol.

She recalls one night as a young teen: “I found myself grappling with the decision of whether to pursue a trip to America to follow a music career. After looking up the price of an air ticket, I prayed for guidance and the very next day, I stumbled upon the exact amount of money that matched the ticket price. It felt like a miraculous sign, and I took it as a clear indication from God. Without hesitation, I used the found money to book a flight to the U.S., feeling certain that I was meant to embark on this journey.”

Angelina was especially thrilled to perform her holiday single, “Christmas Time,” at the US Capitol. “Although it is a happy song, it always brings tears to my eyes when I sing it. It is a reminder of the obstacles I have overcome in order to reach where I am now, and it is a reflection of happy times with the family I love.”
