About Arijit Singh (The Famous Bollywood Singer)

Arijit Singh was born on 25th April 1987. He was very fond of music from his childhood. Talking about studies, he was an average student in studies.
He got training in Indian classical music in his early childhood.
Guru Rajendra Prasad Hajari was his guru for classical music.
Dhirendra Prasad Hajari was his guru for Tabala and classical Bengali songs.
He got interested in music because his mother used to sing and play tabla.
Now he is one of the most successful singers in Bollywood. He is very focused on his work and music.
We get to see a different variation in each of his songs. Also, his style differs in every new song.
He participated in Fame Gurukul but for some reason, he did not win it. He came in fifth place in Fame Gurukul.
But before the release date, the script of the song changed and it was never released.
Before starting his career as a playback singer he also had his own recording studio.
His very first song in Bollywood was from the album “High School Musical 2”.
And the song's name is “All for one.”
It was composed by Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy.
He also sang some TV shows title tracks like "Hum hai deewane" and "Dadagiri."
After this song, he sang many songs like Mohobbat, Rabata but these songs didn’t influence the audience. He didn't give up and kept going.
Then in 2013, he got a contract of singing one of the most famous romantic song in the Bollywood "Tum hi ho."
This song changed his career. He becomes one of the most famous singers in Bollywood in no time.
He got almost nine awards for the song.
He recorded "Phir Mohobbat" song in 2009, but for some reason, it was not released 'til 2013, and when it was released it got a very good response from the audience.
When asked about how he maintains such a melodious voice, he said that it's all about practice and taking care of yourself.
He said that drinking a lot of water is critical. But the water must be pure purified by a good quality water filter.
He also runs an NGO called “Let there be light,” which serves people who are below the poverty line.
He runs Blood Bank Camps through his NGO.
He also donates clothes, books, stationery to the below poverty line community.
He likes a lot of singers but KK and Anshuman Khurana are some of his favorite singers. He also likes Jagjit Singh, Ghulam Ali and Mehdi Hassan.
He doesn't like to make appearances on TV shows or in public in general.
But he appeared on the famous “The Kapil Sharma Show” and the host of the show Kapil Sharma explained the difficulties he had to go through to bring Arijit Singh to the show due to his shy nature.
He doesn't have a car. He still travels through public transport.
Along with music he also likes photography, Bengali novels, and cycling.
He is also a badminton player. He likes cricket and football as well.
His favorite players are Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, and Jonty Rhodes.
He is a big football fan and his favorite team is Brazil and Argentina and his favorite football players are Lionel Messi and Thomas Muller.
He is very fond of listening to retro songs, especially by Lata Mangeshkar and Mohammad Rafi.
He likes writing and he is a documentary maker as well.
When Arijit Singh made his appearance with long hair and beard, reporters asked about it, he replied that he doesn't get time to cut his hair and shave due to his busy schedule in Mumbai.
He has already recorded more than 212 songs in his entire career.
He has owned a lot of prestigious awards for his singing like Mirchi music awards, five Filmfare awards, a stardust award and the prestigious IIFA award, zee cine awards and two screen awards.
