It's that time of year again. Get out your costumes and house decorations. We'll be filling our days with holiday fun like pumpkin carving, bobbing for apples, and watching scary movies. There's so many fun things to do this time of year trick or treating, getting scared at haunted houses, and my favorite... Parties! Whether it be a night on the town having fun with your friends or a soiree at home setting up a whole bunch of fun festivities. You'll need the perfect Halloween playlist to kick off your kickback. These songs will be sure to get you into the holiday spirit.

1. Somebody's Watching Me

A great song to kick off the night is Somebody's Watching Me by Rockwell. This will be a a good song to kick off the vibe as people arrive with a fun beat, and it's just a little bit thrilling. It provokes the goosebumps on your skin to appear, and the hairs on your neck to stand just a little higher like tiny soldiers on the lookout. It brings out that feeling of paranoia that all of us feel from time to time, but that is the emotion we want to bring out on the spookiest season of the year and hopefully a little bit of excitement.

2. Thriller

This is another Halloween classic. It is a song that guarantees to have people up and dancing as more people join the party. This is one of my main songs on my playlist with the music video being a movie on it's own. It is a really fun memory moonwalking at 1 am dancing with the whole crowd to this song. This is something to get the party more hype and get that eerie tone while keeping the energy up.

3. Hidden in the Sand

Now this song may not be as a recognized classic Halloween jam but just trust me. It doesn't get more ominous then this song with its forbidding doomsday feel with a falsely soft sweet aura. It has an old timey mood like it should be playing to a black and white movie with that classy vintage fim. I just love the atmosphere of this song and with the dim lights at a get together. Neon lights with the this honeyed yet grim melody just gives off a fun but still sinister type of environment.

4. Sweet Dreams

Another entertaining song to continue the festivity is Sweet Dreams. If you're looking for a Halloween song with lively energy and the outlaw element. Then this song will go with whatever celebration you plan on throwing or going to. Such songs with the calm yet unfriendly tune are interesting and a little different than the traditional Halloween spooky songs. Don't get me those are great too, but if you play these less traditional songs along with more well known ones. They are guaranteed to be a fan favorite then all the songs we are all going to be hearing for the month of October.

5. This is Halloween

Additionally, this Halloween classic is dazzlingly marvelous and a fan favorite for kids and adults alike! This song is so much fun in the Nightmare Before Christmas, which is still one of my most favored Halloween movies. Along with that amusing flick, the version by Marilyn Manson is better than the original song(not a fact just my opinion). It is an interesting song with a grunge and haunted sound that is really cool in a party setting.

6. Creep

A little something to end the night with is Creep by Radiohead. I love the atmosphere of this song; like something that would be playing at the end of the night at an almost empty bar on the outskirts of the countryside. The setting of this song is like driving down a ghostly town with ghoul type statues and cemeteries parallel of the streets.

Welp! That's all I've got for my personal all-time-favorite most chosen Halloween tunes. I hope you have a spooky season with lots of holiday spirit. Thank you for reading and happy Halloween!
